I received a one-time service for a termite problem at my home - Charged over $700 for the one-time service. I did NOT sign nor even verbally agree to a monthly contract + to my surprise of course I receive a bill stating otherwise. I have been reaching out the company multiple times via phone + chat yet NO ONE seems to respond. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. I can't even receive a simple response. And how do you charge for a contract I did not agree or sign for. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS - They are a fraud charging you for something you did not agree to.

Viking was great! They were at my house right away. Assessed the problem and informed me that bats were protected in NJ until September. The technician was very helpful despite not being able to physically remove the bat due to the laws. I would hire them again without hesitation if I ran into another pest situation

The repairman who came identified the droppings correctly as bats and found a hole I could plug up myself in the eaves to prevent them from coming back. Worked like a charm!

awful-dangerous use of chemicals Last visit the service man didn't tell me he was here, opened yard gate (so that my dogs could have gotten out to the road), set up equipment to spray my whole yard. I heard the motor noise and went out to stop him. My service had always been for just the minimal spraying around the edge of the house. Never inside and never for the grass yard. I had always specifically told then to never spray the yard. He also didn't leave me the written statement with what chemicals he had used. I canceled my contract with them.

They put bait inside and are sealing cracks outside. I am so impressed with this operation. They are wonderful! The person that came out was great, and the person I spoke with on the phone was wonderful.  They said that it will take 10 days for everything to take effect, and they said if I saw any ants after 10 days and before 30 days, they would come back out at no charge.

Viking has been a great service and before we hired them, we were infested with Cave-Crickets.   We call them frequently during the spring to spray and they automatically come out a few times a year to treat our home.  Great monthly service!

They had the lowest price and I planned to use them originally but the problem was when I called them, I could never reach the salesperson. He didn't come back to go over details so I didn't feel comfortable. I didn't know what to do if something went wrong. I contacted them originally in June and talked to a secretary. I asked if I could talk to a salesperson and he called me back. I asked if there was any chance he could come back to go over some details. He said he needed to look at his schedule and he would get back to me. He never got back to me. After a week I called the main office and told them of the situation and that I really needed to talk to the salesperson. They said they usually don't come out a second time and I said that I still needed to go over some of the details and changes with him. They said they would patch the message over to him and after that I never got anything back from him. I never heard from them again. Their price was the lowest and it was a pretty big company. They were quick to come out originally but they didn't do any follow up.

Their location is close to us and the people were very nice but I wasn't completely satisfied with the service. I didn't like the fact that they offer pest control and wildlife management services but they weren't able to help me. Squirrels had nested in the area between my window and the storm window and the guys said they didn't handle situations like that. They told me I could call them back but I wanted it resolved immediately because the squirrels had been chewing through things in the house. I have nothing bad to say about the people; I was just disappointed that they couldn't help me out.

They were professional, nice, punctual, and safety-conscious.  My only issue with the service was that they had to make 4 trips to complete the service.  One for the estimate, one attempt to do the service when they couldn't because there was snow on the ground (this was annoying b/c I had called and told them I didn't think they could do it due to the snow, one trip where they couldn't do it b/c of the wind (understandable b/c I want them to be safe) and one to do the work.

My initial contact with Viking Pest Control in October 2013 was awesome. So I am hoping that this was just a bump in the road with the service we received. When we were treated for crickets in October we decided to get a contract for $33.00 per month which would be a treatment ever 3 months. I received a postcard that said my service was scheduled for Jan 11th. I rescheduled because of a conflict and as this is a second home it isn't always easy to get there. I rescheduled for Feb 1st. I called the Friday before and left a message for a return call as to an approximate time of service. I received no return call. My husband and I waited until about noon and left to go to lunch. We came back and there was no evidence that any one was there. I called today and how convenient that they said they came. I wasn't home so they said they only treated the outside. They also said they didn't leave a receipt because we have a PA mailing address. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt but prior experience with service contractors in this area leaves a little to be desired. I really don't get it. In an economy where people complain there is no work there is plenty in the Cape May area. I can't count how many times we have called service people and make an appointment and they just don't show up.
