Joel arrived on time - everything went as planned with the exception of my old house not 
being level - so it took more time than expected to complete and he and Tom returned the next morning to
finish the job - very well done and very patient in getting the old wooden door to fit like a glove - did the 
job as if they were working on their own home.

Top-notch from start to finish. We used an architect recommended by them, she was very flexible (came to our home weekends/evenings, revised drawings numerous times, her price VERY reasonable.) From there, it was as smooth a process as you can ever want. Tom and Joel were there every day, even when sub-contractors were doing the work they showed up to make sure the sub's were there, and doing what they were supposed to do. Every sub-contractor was excellent, professional, worked around the construction schedule, and showed up on weekends if needed to keep the job moving. Tom and Joel also had good advice and gave us some great ideas, they absolutely know what they are doing. My family really loved seeing them every morning along with Sean, the carpenter. They did everything they said they would do, and then some. And they also provided a lot of extra touches, such as they made sure the molding above the doors and windows matched the custom molding throughout the rest of the house (an older house, very unique molding). They went out of their way to make sure the doors matched the rest of the doors in the house. The painters were meticulous. Tom and Joel made sure any loose ends were taken care of and checked on us numerous times after the project was finished. When the job was done they paid for a house cleaner to come through, I am VERY picky about my home and the cleaners did an unbelievable job, I was absolutely thrilled. The guys from JTK are the kind of people you want in your home, friendly, honest, easy to talk to. We really missed them when they moved on to their next job. (Four houses down the street!). Another thing that is good about JTK is because they do quality work, and are very respected, there were no issues with the township in terms of inspections, permits etc. Looking back, when we started the project, we interviewed numerous contractors. We had a budget in mind, and JTK said they could do the job within that budget. They delivered!!
