GILCO ON-SITE SCREEN REPAIRS

My sliding screen door was damaged by my dogs. I left a message on the Gilco answering machine and received a prompt return call. They scheduled a home visit for the next day and I didn't even have to be home. I left the screen door on the porch. When I came home, the screen door was repaired with dog resistant screening. Attached to the door was a very reasonable bill.

Went great! Gil returned my call very quickly, and was on site a few days later. He arrived within the window he had given me, and was here maybe half an hour. The newly screened door looks terrific and works perfectly. I'm hopeful my dog won't try to catch a squirrel through the screen door again anytime soon, but if he does, I'm calling Gil!

Perfect. Called when they were en route. This is an older development and I had asked that all the screens be checked and repaired if necessary. Work performed in an extremely professional manner, the end result being replacement of 2 screens and repair of one. In addition, I was told the cost of replacement versus repair in advance. Thank you!

Job was done well and screens look like new.  Only issue was the Gil arrived an hour late.  A call at the scheduled time indicating that he was running late would have been appreciated.

First of all I want to say thank you to Jeff for coming out late in the afternoon before the start of a holiday weekend.  Thank you again for turning around and coming back after there was a misunderstanding with one of the screens, which was totally my fault.  I highly recommend Glico Screens based on their professionalism and quality of work.  I will not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

Showed up promptly and we quickly proceeded to identify the screens in need of repair. We popped them out and Gil went to work immediately. Within the matter of a couple of hours all the screens were repaired and replaced. While this is something I likely could have done, it would have consumed the better part of a weekend, along with multiple trips to hardware store to get parts I did not realize were in need of replacement -Gil replaced some parts in addition to the screens which were the visible issues. Fantastic job! Very fair price! Would absolutely use him again, and highly recommend him.

He should probably not list Middlesex County on his list of service areas if he does not want to come out to do the work. Though I may be located on the farther end of the county, I called him for work based on his "A" rating and he told me that my area was "out there".

On a 1-10 basis, they scored a 12. Professional and pleasant and a joy to work with. Would recommend to all.

Came when they were suppose to. Were professional, quick, clean and reasonably priced. Just moved to new place. Will be calling them to do additional work. Highly recommend.

Called and made an appointment for mobile screen repair service. Had an inspection for CO the next day. Was a no-show and no-call. I called about an hour after appointment time to see where he was and left a voice message. No return call.

All went very well. Arrived when was supposed to and did the work efficiently and professionally. Had ALL the supplies and tools needed. Just a Great Job!

He was very clear. The owner took a lot of pride in his work and he did a great job with the repair.

Made appt. back in April for Gil to come look at screens. All were removed from property at beach by me before the hurricane and brought to my home in Tinton Falls. He forgot first appointment but came quickly when I called a second time. Since it was a big job, I let him take the screens with him as long as we'd get them back at the end of May so that we could install them at the beach and not have to turn to AC right away. That was my first mistake. After about a month, I had to call to check on status. Was told that he had been busy and they weren't finished. I was like 'whatever' thinking that he had taken on my job first and after a week or two I should have taken precedence. He was to call me when they were done, but I never heard from him so I called a week later. Was told they'd be done by Friday and he'd call to schedule a day for them to be delivered. Friday came and went (Memorial Day weekend, by the way, so no screens and had to turn on AC even though the weather was perfect for opening windows and getting a cool breeze). Next time I called was a week or so later to tell him that the window washer was coming and would install the screens for me if they were at the house so I would like to have them delivered before that day. Was promised delivery the night prior to the window washer or first thing the morning he was coming. They never showed up. Had to call again the day the window washers were here and get nasty because they'd now had my screens for over a month and a half and I missed the time frame to actually open the windows and use them and now the window washers were here and wouldn't be able to install them. Was told word for word and quot;I f'd upand quot; and he apologized, but that still didn't help me. The screens finally arrived later that day and a man from Gilco had to install them because the window washer was LONG gone. They ended up owing me one screen, still, because one of the new screens was the wrong size. Was told new screen would be here in 2 days. Just received it Saturday (July 6th) - over a week later. He did provide discount for the trouble but I'm sorry to say that even that did not make up for the aggravation. Had a possible job for window conversion for the whole house but my husband has informed me that he'll divorce me if I even think about using this company again.

Overall, we had a great experience with Gilco. I called them for an estimate, and they were quick to response with the info I needed. We set up a time that was mutually convenient for them to come to my house and repair the screens on-site. On the day that they came to repair the screens, they called about a half hour ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. They came first thing in the morning, which I appreciated since I didn't have to sit and wait for them to come. The man who came was polite and professional. He removed all the screens and got right to work. I was impressed by how quickly he finished as I had a lot of screens for him to work on. When he was done, he put all the screens back. I plan on using this company again and will be recommending them to others.

I found this provider here, on Angie's list. I contacted Gilco via email and everything was arranged via email - something I prefer. The service man was a bit early but we managed. The service man was quick and professional. The result is excellent.
Gilco does not currently accept plastic for payment - something not noted anywhere that I saw.
If I need screen service in the future I will contact Gilco again.

Arrived on time. Repaired all 3 screens in approx 30 mins. The screen material; is a perfect match to the existing Andersen screens and the new screens are nice and tight. Great work. Will use again.
