Amx Auto Repair

I saw a puddle of transmission fluid under my car and walked over to AMX Auto shop after I asked around for a recommendation. I explained the problem to Chris the owner and told him I am afraid of driving the car and do not want to damage the transmission. He was very friendly and listened carefully and asked a few questions about the make and model of my car. I bought a few quarts of fluid from his shop and made sure the level is right and drove the car to his shop. He was busy but gave my car priority and checked the leak. He said the transmission is fine but the lines that run to the coolant are corroded and need to be replaced. He quoted a very good price for the material and labor and I had my car ready to drive in about two hours while I waited. I asked him to inspect for other possible needed repairs and he did that at no charge and gave me a very reasonable quote for other maintenance and explained why each is needed and when they should be done. Chris is very honest and  pleasant person and so are his other mechanics. I will certainly go back to his shop if I need maintenance or repair.
