The team was able to pull off an amazing job on a tag sale that was scheduled for them to run with very little notice. My home was being sold and I needed to get rid of quite a few items. The event was well attended and they were even able to sell things that I would never had thought of including such as partially used paint, leftover hardware and broken items that people were willing to fix. My move afterwards was much more manageable thanks to them!

The sale went well with a great turnout of customers.  Matt had a crew there to assist with sales and watch for theft.  He was the only person taking in the money and knew the price of every item because he was the only one who priced them. I recommend Matt wholeheartedly. When I first spoke with him and learned how an estate sale is run, I knew Matt was the guy. I did speak with one other prior who wasn't the guy. After speaking with Matt I was relieved, knowing the problem of cleaning out my house was going to be solved. A 3000 square foot house of contents will not fit in a fully furnished 2 bedroom condo. I would be getting money for my valuable possessions and not just putting them in a dumpster or storage. I had total confidence in Matt and he did not disappoint. Never did he sugar coat anything and at times I learned the  reality about what some items were worth on the market.

Matt also reminded me his concern was his client and my happiness was his bottom line. He was concerned that I did well but I was also concerned he did well because he had worked so hard to make it successful.

My friends were concerned on all aspects and not one expressed any regrets or concerns about Matt.

You will feel good after all is said and done.

Everything went well.

If you are not happy with Matt's services. you are not  living in reality!

When things are at their worst, that?s when you find people at their best.  After an elderly relative passed away, we were faced with cleaning out and selling the family house.  Even worse, she was the last surviving member of a large family who had lived there for over 70 years, so you can imagine the variety, age and amount of stuff to manage.  I considered taking what seemed to be the path of least resistance  - hiring a ?junk disposal" company to just come in and get rid of everything - but I could tell there was some items of real value, especially jewelry, and felt like it would cost money instead of recover their value.  I interviewed several estate sales companies, went to an estate sale to see what to expect, and hired NJ Auctions.  Boy am I glad I did.  Matt Lieb, the owner of the company, did a good initial appraisal of the contents, then offered a sliding-scale commission deal with no minimum mandatory charge.  His reasoning is that if he does a good job of preparing, advertising and selling, we will all make money. Matt brought several great workers who spent a couple of days going through boxes and closets, cleaning/ tagging items and organizing the layout for items.  He handled online mailing and posted large signage advertising the sale on major streets near the site.  On the days of the estate sale, Matt brought several great people to handle sales on different floors and in the garage, accurately gauging the interest (we had 2 to 3 hundred people each day, with 10 waiting in line already by the time we opened for business).  Jewelry was handled especially well: better pieces placed in glass display cases, a nightly inventory with me;  setting up the jewelry room layout and cash register to make sure sales were secure. He insisted I take unsold pieces to a jeweler to get an independent appraisal to compare with Matt?s offer for them. He and his wonderful crew sold the vast majority of possessions, were available to cleaned up afterward and helped us donate/resell even those items that remained.  Along the way, Matt really helped us work through the process, using his stories and expertise to make a sad chore into an shared and somewhat enjoyable journey.

I do not live in the area, so I engaged Matthew Lieb to handle all the tasks involved in the sale of my 1986 Pontiac Fiero.  He worked with me to determine a fair initial asking price and a final sale price, and he found a buyer who appreciated this unique car.  I was very happy with the outcome.

To say that Matthew Lieb conducted an estate sale is an understatement.  He turned what we felt was a difficult necessity into a very positive experience.  We had traveled from out-of-state to deal with a home filled with a lifetime of possessions.  Having never been through such an experience, we were at a loss for how to dispose of these things in a meaningful way.  After making other inquiries, we spoke to Matthew on the phone and immediately recognized that this was someone we could work with --and who would work with us.  We were correct.  Matthew spent time looking at everything in the house with his experienced eye and talked to us about the sale's potential before we made any decisions about going forward.

We did go forward with the sale, which Matthew handled expertly, and in the end this is what we felt we got from the experience:  an appreciation for the fact that our family member had actually been something of a collector with a discerning eye; good homes for all that was sold; more monetary return to the estate than had been hoped; an empty house ready for the next phase of its existence; and new friends.

An excellent experience!  Worry free, professional and responsible. Pricing, set-up, advertising, sales and clean-up.
Pleasant, knowledgeable and professional.  Attention to detail, receptive to ideas.  Matthew really made this sale happen.
There were a steady stream of customers and my profit was more than I had thought.  ALL GOOD!  NO WORRIES!
