SunPower by Sea Bright Solar

Had panels installed few years ago. Have been calling for over a month to double the number of panels, have been promised 7 call backs, but received none. Will contact competitors to get the job done.

One feature that was different from other solar panel installation contractors whom I spoke with was that the Sea Bright solar representative, Ty Burns, whom I first met as during my initial contact with Sea bright Solar, came to my home to inspect what spaces I had available for the installation of solar panels. He remained my primary point of contact from the signing of the sales contract, through the design and permitting phases of the project and continued to monitor the installation phase of the solar panels which was supervised very professionally by their Chief of Operations, Terry. It was all one-stop shopping. I always dealt directly with the personnel who were responsible for overseeing that the work was performed correctly. I was always provided with advance notice when to expect their personnel would be onsite to perform work, what the scope of work would be and when it would be completed. Best of all, they completed the scheduled work as promised. The only delays were caused by Borough building inspectors who were not always available in a timely manner. In one instance, the delay was caused because the assigned inspector was on an extended holiday vacation and their was no replacement. There were no unexpected change order charges. They completed the project in full under the signed, sales contract budget. When the power utility, JCP&L, refused to install the new digital meter that was needed for the operation of the solar system, because JCP&L claimed that the wrong service meter panel box (240 V) had been installed on my home. That meter had not been installed by me or Sea Bright solar, but by a licensed electrician under contract to a previous owner. Yet, back when that meter panel box was installed and approved by the borough's electrical inspector, it was JCP&L who allowed the new meter (240 V) to be put in place. Even when the service was 208 V. When it came to installing the new digital meter that was required for the solar generation connection, JCP&L took no responsibility for the existing meter (240 V) and informed me I had to replace the meter box connection for a 208V meter at my cost. Fortunately for me, Sea bright Solar replaced the existing 240V meter and panel box connection with the proper 208 V meter and installed the proper panel box connections for 208 V service. They did it under the agreed upon sales contract. They didn't charge me for an out-of-scope work change order. now, JCP&L will agree to install the new digital meter. Would I use Sea Bright Solar again? Absolutely!!! Would I recommend their services to a friend or an associate? Absolutely!!! I consider myself to be a very satisfied customer of the services that were provided to me by Sea Bright Solar. Currently, I am retired. My professional background is that of a Professional Geologist who has worked mostly in the field of Environmental Consulting for the investigation and remediation cleanup of soils and groundwater at former industrial manufacturing sites and US Superfund Cleanup projects that were located in the USA, as well as other environmental cleanup sites in Canada and Mexico. i also have consulted in my career as an Engineering Geologist on geotechnical foundation design and construction projects located within the USA. Sea Bright made the overall experience painless.  Ty Burn - Sales Person was very knowledgeable about the overall process.  He explained clearly all the options and even helped in securing the best option that meets my need.  It took less than 3 months from start to finish.  Installer team was very professional and My solar system is working fine and overall performance is very well. Sea Bright Solar sales person came out to my home and presented a SunPower solar system. The sales person was very thorough with the presentation. From the time that I signed the contract to install was around 8 or 9 weeks. Sea Bright Solar took care of all of the paperwork with SCE and the connection with them.

Sea Bright solar was beyond a doubt the best contractor I have ever used. From the first meeting with the sales person to the completion of all paper work. I cannot says enough and would recommend to everyone looking for a solar system.
