I have been using All Seasons Service-Farrell's Inc of Asbury Park, NJ since 2010. Jim Farrell, his service team and office staff provide outstanding customer service. Mr. Farrell and his service technicians are very dependable from when they say they will arrive, servicing home utility appliances, completing the job in a satisfactory manner and leaving the premise in better condition than when they arrived.
I use All Seasons Service for repair needs, annual inspections, and preventive maintenance on my standby generator, hot water boiler supplying domestic hot water for sanitary use and radiant floor heating, and air conditioning compressors.
I first used All Seasons Service in 2010 when I suspected the general contractor and the sub-contractors he was supposedly supervising who renovated my house made mistakes installing the radiant heat system and the generator/transfer switch. The radiant heat system is comprised of 6 zones to individually control heating of occupied areas as well as control temperatures of each zone. When the system was on, all parts of the distribution manifold were carrying hot water out to zones not calling for heat. Mr. Farrell came to inspect and commented that the contractor made two errors; each manifold distribution line contained the wrong type of circulation pump and a large circulation pump was installed at the start of the manifold in front of the six smaller pumps. The larger circulation pump was applying too much head pressure before the smaller zone circulation pumps, thus forcing hot water into zones not calling for heat.
To see whether I was being given correct information, I described the symptoms to the pump manufacturer and the manufacturer of the radiant heat system control components. Both communicated the same diagnosis of Mr. Farrell, thereby validating what he related. Mr. Farrell and his associate installed the correct zone circulation pumps and the larger circulation pump situated before the zone junctions was removed as it was not required. The system now works correctly, is more efficient, and has reduced heating costs.
The Generator battery for automatic starting did not last as long as expected and Mr. Farrell noted upon inspection the original electrical contractor substituted the required Group 26R automotive battery with one designed for a small riding tractor mower. In addition, there was an issue with the charging unit for the battery not being properly installed. Again Mr. Farrell's expertise quickly found these issues and resolved the problems.
Service of the hot water boiler included a full electrical and mechanical inspection and a thorough descaling of the combustion chamber. This resulted in a more efficient operation of the heating system, less natural gas consumption, and decreased operating costs. A tune-up and addition of refrigerant rounded out the service on the air conditioning compressor units.
I can recommend this firm without any reservations. They have the expertise in all types of utility appliances whether natural gas, oil, or electrically operated. Service is extremely reliable, phone calls are in most cases promptly returned, and there is an answering service to handle after hours and weekend calls.
"As allays we are happy to keep your equipment it top running condition."
"Thank you for the positive post"
"I remember that call and i glad i was able to get your unit up and running properly."
