The damage under the shingles turned a one day job into two days, with a snowstorm between the days. They tarped the roof and were back the day after the snow to finish. Cleaned up everything and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend them!

They came out within a day or two to assess the damage and detail a fix.  Within about a week the roof flashing was replaced, the siding around the door removed and replaced with identical materials and the inside was repaired with new molding, insulation and spackling.
I also asked them if they could repair the front porch support column which they did. I had noticed that the flag pole support screws that I removed from the aluminum the precious siding people put around the column to match the siding.
It required them to remove and replace the old flashing/channeling from the edge of the porch and second floor overhang.
They put larger channeling on instead which seems to have stopped the water from backing up and traveling down the column.
Overall, I am very happy with their work and consider the price fair for the work done.

They are excellent. They are professional and caring. They do not leave your roof alone until they get it right, even if the leaks are hard to find. I would give them five stars in a heartbeat; they are indeed top-notch. They came out a year ago to work on the leak, but they could not find it. It was better for a while. They came out once again and thoroughly inspected and troubleshot again. I had to pay additional because they had to do quite a bit of work, but it seems to have stopped the leak. I paid $1,500. I did not shop around for prices as I did not care. I knew they had the expertise and that they cared about the quality of work that they did. It is a family-owned business. When they do a job, they know that their name is on the line. I would use them again in the future for a few other projects.

They were quite responsive. I don?t know much about them. All I can say is that, when we called and told them about our situation they were very responsive. I can?t comment on their punctuality because I was not there when they had come to do the work. I would use their services again in the future.

I knew we had some badly weathered siding because it was soft and loose. I had obtained some other estimates, but I was having trouble with the contractors returning my calls. I received a flyer from Thomson & Son in the mail and checked them out on the web. They're local and they've been around a long time, so I called for an estimate. Warren came right out the next day, I had the estimate a week later, and they started work the work the week after that. They were very professional and very thorough. The rot extended to the underlying plywood and some facia under the gutters, so they removed and replaced that as well. The job took 2-1/2 days and they cleaned up every night. When they finished everything was tight and solid. In addition, they identified and corrected the underlying problem and so that it won't happen again. They hauled all the waste away and left things in neat order. The final price was more than the estimate, but that was because the estimate did not include the plywood. We had agreed upon a price/sheet for the plywood, and that determined the final price. I should add that I agreed to stain the new siding myself. They made it clear that they preferred not to get involved with paint/stain, and that was fine with me.
