ABSECON VETERINARY HOSPITAL

Terrible. I had to wait one half hour just to be brought back to the examining room and then another half hour for my cat to be seen. My cat is 13 years old and gets extremely nervous when he goes to the vet. After waiting a half hour in the examining room a tech came in and said the vet had been dealing with an emergency. The tech said the vet would be right in, she just needed to review the records that had been faxed from my previous vet. When the vet finally came in she did not introduce herself, she asked how my female cat was doing. Obviously she didn't review the records from my prior vet or else the vet would have noticed my cat was a male, not a female. I could tell she hadn't looked at the records as she was scrolling down the records and asking me questions when she was reviewing the records in front of me. Her manner was cold, did not seem to care much about my pet. when I finally left I had to wait in a line for another 10 minutes in order to pay for the visit. While I was waiting I could see the techs chatting away together, not paying the least bit of attention that I was waiting to pay. When I finally got to pay the tech could tell I was upset. She asked what was wrong. I explained I was not at all happy with the amount of time I had to wait and that my cat gets extremely upset at the vets and all this waiting had made him very anxious. The, tech did say she was sorry and somehow the emergency that had caused the delay had changed from one emergency to two emergencies. This place seems to be a pet mill who only care about money and little concern for the safety and comfort of the pets the are seeing

Absecon Veterinary Hospital is excellent. The vet was extremely kind and he stayed with us for the whole thing and told my daughter exactly what was going to happen and basically advised that it will best because the cat was suffering. He was excellent. He was very nice. They're very professional and kind. They're gentle with the animals. They like their animals apparently and the animals feel that. It's very good.

Our 20 year old cat had been experiencing health issues during the last several months. The staff and veterinarians at Absecon are compassionate and caring. They helped us deal with the last few months with our cat. I would highly recommend Absecon Veterinary.

The place if very clean, the staff professonal and caring. I would highly recomend this practice to others.
