LAMY'S FLOORING

Set up an appointment in advance for getting an estimate to sand floors in our small condo.  Made the 1 1/2 hour trip up to meet representative from Lamy's Flooring on a Saturday morning.  No one showed up and I sent a voicemail and email to find out what happened.  Representative called later in the afternoon and I was told that due to an emergency, the appointment was missed (a call would have been nice).  Rescheduled the appointment for 10:00 AM the next morning (Sunday).  Waited until noon and no one showed up and there were no calls or emails from the company.  I like giving the benefit of the doubt, but to have made a special trip up with two confirmed appointments not kept, I am done with this outfit.

We contacted Lamy's in late spring during a flooring sale at that time. They were prompt to come and measure. When we realized that any installation, regardless of provider, would be in the summer months, we delayed installation. Lamy's was willing to purchase the flooring during the sale and stored it for us all summer. In the fall, they delivered in advance to allow it to acclimate to the house environment. The installer was courteous and professional. We are very pleased.

The two guys from lamys were hard working and sanded down about 900 sq ft of pine floors and refinished and did an excellent job. they also installed new hardwood hickory floors in both kitchen and living room about 600 sq ft and did an excellent job . the communication was also very good with the company and responded well to any changes we were making,,i would definitely hire this company again.

Prior to the job, the floors looked old, uneven, discolored and stained. Once Michael and his crew finished the floors looked brand new. He also did a couple of extra things for us which we appreciate. We recommend and would use again.
