- Carpet seams started unraveling after just a couple of weeks and linoleum began to bubble in 6 months. several calls were made to Heckman's and an installer finally came to the house. the installer said that the subfloor was warped under the linoleum and there was nothing they could do about it. the carpet issues were never resolved. we ended up tearing everything out and having

Upon hiring Heckman's flooring, I paid them - up front - a deposit (for materials) $1800.
Upon completion I paid the remaining cost in full immediately.
Upon checking the flooring and shower floor , I found a great many cracks, non fitting pieces,
damage from installer banging humps with a hammer, wrinkles in the tile, etc. This is not jut
a few tiles - it is many!
I have called both Mr. Heckman and his wife numerous times, spoken to him on several encounters
and each time he promised to all and see the problems. He has yet to call or arrive.
He told me both he and his wife have called me. I told him that I have to answering machine but
DO have caller I.D. and have yet to receive these so-called calls.
We live in a somewhat small community and I have always tried to deal locally. Now, I tell everyone I meet about this sad state of affairs and have gotten estimates on a new shower repair.
