He and his assistant came when promised, worked neatly and finished within a few days. 

Marcos Novais had done some work for my daughter and son-in-law (finished off an attic room) and they were happy with his work, so we contacted him after several top-rated providers on Angie's List either did not respond to our emails at all, or were not interested in the job.
We had interior water damage and stains in our family room and dining room from last winter's ice dams .  The worst was in the family room; one wall and ceiling.  They removed the damaged wall board, determined there was no mold, replaced insulation and  sheet rock for the wall and ceiling, plastered and painted.  There were shelves on that wall that they had to remove and then put back.  They also painted the ceiling and wall in the dining room (other side of the family room wall), repaired the ceiling over the laundry which was damaged from a separate leak, and painted the hall ceiling which had water stains from prior leaks.  They sealed off the areas where they worked so there was minimal mess from the plaster dust. 
Marcos had an assistant with him each day, but he was working there the full time and was clearly the supervisor.  They all showed up when he said they would, and came each day until the work was completed.  We plan on having them come back for some future projects as well.
