It's been many years and I have not had any water in my basement since the system has been put in.

The major ground water problem was fixed when Tony replaced the existing sump pump and installed a perimeter drain. Shortly after we moved in we noticed a few small puddles coming from a completely different source and even though Tony's work for for the initial source of the water, he came right over and sat with me in my basement during a rain storm to identify where the additional water was coming from and fixed it free of charge. Our basement has been dry as a bone since and that was six years ago. I don't recall the exact price paid for the service as the previous owner paid but we were given some say in which of the two contractors that were consulted would ultimately do the work.. Tony's price was about the same or slightly lower, because he came so highly recommended we chose him and we are happy we did.

It went perfectly. Tony and his team did a basement waterproofing job for us in 2010. Tony was completely transparent about the cost and the team was in and out as planned. We never had a problem in the basement after the installation, and Tony's team was back every year to do the required maintenance. I highly recommend Holt Landscape Construction for any project.

So far it's going very well. I recommend him to anyone, He is an excellent person to work with.

We interviewed other companies for this project, but were impressed by Tony's professionalism, responsiveness. He supplied a list of references whom I could (and did) contact by phone.

Our basement was a wreck. Every time it rained it flooded. The mains sump pump would stop working. Things stored down there had rotted out and needed to be disposed of. The smell was horrific.

Tony and his crew came in with an estimate which was higher than others, but more professionally delivered. He could also demonstrate the training from the product manufacturer that he and his crew had received.

In addition to installing the basement drainage system, the walls were covered with a damp-proof fabric, which diverts moisture down to the floor, to be removed by the drainage system.

The work involved removing a gulley at the base of all walls, to install the drainage system, then refilling with concrete; Removing the old sump pump, and replacing it with a new upgraded system with battery backup; refilling the old sump pump hole and discharge system, and rerouting the discharge pipe to a better position.

The work was done on time, professionally, and as a result we now have a clean and dry basement, with no odor, that is ready to be converted into about 800 square feet of usable additional living space.
