Vicent's Painting and Remodeling

I have known this person for years. This is the first time I have used his services. First off I wanted an estimate in detail with labor and materials seperated. He did not do that. His price was originally 3800 dollars over the phone. But the written came in at $4000 and was not detailed. And he insisted that the supplier he used had the better product.I know at this point I should have back out. But I have always thought of him as reliable.He started on time finished on time. But it cost me alot more to use his supplier and then I found out that the supplier I wanted to use had the same quality for $300. cheaper. Plus I would now have to pay more interest. The end results is that I paid all but $200. Then I paid for the materials and found that Mr. Vincent had not given me credit $60+. We went back and forth. Then he did a driveway plowing so I paid him another 100 on the roof and 30 for the plowing. That left a small balance of around 30 dollars that originally he agreed to forget.Now he refuses to honor the warranty.
