The bathroom looks beautiful, but the following things went very wrong: The vent was installed so badly our roof leaked multiple times, damaging the ceiling in the floor below. Once finally fixed, John Wells handed us a can of Killz to get rid of the stain on the ceiling. The plaster is now cracking. The drain in the tile shower was installed incorrectly and using the wrong materials (a pvc pipe fed through a copper pan.) As a result, water accumulated *beneath* the tiles, degrading the low-quality concrete used below the tiles, and growing mold. In addition, the pitch of the floor was bad - leaving water pooling in a corner instead of draining correctly. We are now paying another contractor to install a rubber pan liner, new drain, and completely re-tile the shower floor. In addition, the recessed light installed in the shower was not moisture-safe and so rickety it almost had no purchase to stay in place. There were other details along the way there were unsatisfactory - these are just the most egregious.
Description of Work: Installed a new bathroom in what was previously a walk-in closet.
