My kitchen Remodel was amazing! The job consisted of removing everything in my kitchen down to the bare walls. I was in a panic ! What have I done? But Ty is very meticulous about every detail and had some really great ideas. It was a joy to work with him and his crew. No longer do I dread walking into my kitchen. I now look forward to cooking in my brand new kitchen every day! I highly recommend Ty and his crew! I even have some further projects I am considering because he did such a fantastic job!

After 8 weeks on what was supposed to be an 8-day job Ty Terry began to ghost the job showing up less and less and staying for shorter and shorter periods of time. He allowed subs that we had never met into our house and then left the job site. After contacting him about the tile floor that was improperly installed, he told us he had an important job, at critical point and did not make contact again. After 4 days we terminated his services. We had to bring in a new contractor to replace the entire tile floor and complete the project. That work included all tile work, reworking the mud and tape job, setting the fixtures and doing all the trim work. Ty and his assistant left a huge mess in the attic space adjoining the work zone and abandoned broken tools in our backyard. By the time the project was finished the cost was more than $7,000 over the original estimate.

Ty and his crew were simply the best contractors I have had the pleasure working with. they worked in the snow and cold to get the job done on time. the quality of the work was amazing! I will be hiring them again for future work.

The owner of the company, Ty Terry, was very professional and really listened to what I wanted. He and his team paid great attention to every detail. I was informed about what was happening each step of the way. If I had any issues at all, they were promptly addressed until I was satisfied. I was very impressed with Ty work ethic. He is a perfectionist, and the finished project reflected this. The quote I was given was very reasonable, and they even cleaned up when finished! Ty was great to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and skilled. The project was to update an old deck and screened in porch with all new materials. We ran into a few unexpected structural issues along the way which Ty was able to address. He made sure to correct small issues as if it were his own house....

The owner Ty is GREAT! He quoted me a very accurate and reasonable price, including all materials needed for the installation and labor. I had purchased the awnings and sent Ty the assembly and installation instructions. I was very impressed with Ty's professional manner and experience. He and his lead guy, Scott knew just what to do to ensure the installation is secure and will last. I'm even more impressed by Ty's dedication to get the job done, as it was snowing for both days of the installation, and he and Scott persisted no matter the conditions. I would highly recommend Big Dog Builders / Division Six, and will be sure to bring them back for the next home improvement project.

Every once and awhile, a remodeling project becomes the project from hell but not because of the contractor but because of the project itself. I hired Ty Terry and Big Dog Builders to replace 6 sliding glass doors in an all-season room, replace 5 skylights and re-roof the all-season room add on. Sounded simple and looked simple. Ty and I agreed that I could purchase all materials and he would provide labor only. The all-season room was built in 1996 I believe. The existing sliders were all wood, very heavy and somewhat custom built. The original bid from Ty was roughly 4 days for all the work. I was skeptical on the number of days but the dollar quote for all labor was acceptable. Well, because of the custom nature of the existing sliders, the removal of the old doors and fitting of the new doors was extremely labor intensive. Each new door had to be custom fit. Ty and his partner Scotty did an outstanding and meticulous carpentry miracle to get the old doors out and fit the new doors in. Ty is certainly a master carpenter when it comes to dealing with the unexpected. Each piece of interior moulding had to be custom cut. All pieces of the outside moulding kits had to be custom cut and fit around the wood beams that formed the all-season room roof. In total, the work to complete the doors took nearly 8 days. Ty asked and I agreed to pay a single extra day's labor for the work. With the high quality of the custom carpentry and Ty's insistence on doing things right, I was more than glad to pay extra. Then came the roof - unbeknownst to all of us, the folks that built this all-season room were not interested in following good building practices. It turns out the roofing shingles were glued and nailed directly through the insulation panels and into the ceiling boards of the room. Ty informed me immediately of this dilemma indicating that if he used the same technique he would be unable to offer his life-time guarantee of his work. His recommendation was to remove the shingles and lay plywood on top of the insulation panels and then apply the water and ice shield and then the shingles. With this, he would offer his life-time guarantee. I think many contractors would not have wanted to undertake this huge addition in effort especially given that Ty was already behind schedule. I agreed to extra labor to cover the addition of the plywood layer. Especially since without it the new skylights would have nothing to be nailed to. Again, even though Ty was behind his original schedule, the work he and Scotty did was flawless. They worked around the weather, keeping the roof covered when it rained. They worked in the rain and cold. All along this˜project from hell, Ty kept me fully informed of the issues he was running into. It was always my decision on how to proceed. Ty provided pros and cons but it was my decision. The additional expenses were well worth the additional work that Ty put in. Even though this original 4-day job too

Ty did a very good looking repair, he dealt with adverse conditions of the repair with professionalism.

Ty Terry the owner was very thorough in all his work. He always made sure it was absolutely the best that he could possibly do. He always went above and beyond in all he did for me. I am glad I hired him and would highly recommend him for others. I would hire him for other projects too. The work he performed was precise and neat and clean and very professional.

Ty was a excellent contractor. He called ahead of time to tell us when he was coming. He showed up on time. He did a professional job. He stayed late to finish the job. He was pleasant and cleaned up after himself. So hard to find a contractor who shows up when he says and be good at what he does. Would use this company again. Also we paid what he quoted us. No extra fees.

We had an idea of what we wanted and Ty could see the vision, he drew up plans, and he brought it to life and we couldn't be happier. He worked with us all through the changes that were made in the heat of the day. He stayed late several nights to just keep the project on track. Because of the changes we made we did go over budget quite a bit so the only thing would say to someone is watch the costs. In the end though it was so worth it and everyone loves what he's done.

I was having granite countertops installed and needed someone to come quickly and level out my cabinets. Ty was the only pro who answered his phone, and he came out the very next afternoon to give me a quote, and was able to come out the following day to do the work. He did a great job, and I'm looking forward to having him do more.

Quote said 2 days, it took 3. Left behind debris that was supposed to be taken. Other than that very happy with results.
