A neighbor of ours in Portsmouth recommended ECE and I know she did her homework to find them. I found Elijah and his crew to be very helpful and considerate. They checked in every time there needed to be a decision and we worked things out together. They do excellent work and they always let me know their timetable. They called if there needed to be a change of plans, so you're always kept in the loop. Everyone on the crew were dog lovers, so they made sure our dog stayed in the yard with all the comings and goings and they took to time to give her the endless affection she demands. I would recommend this team to anyone who cares about a fine quality job and timely service.

As the president of our condo association, I hired Alijah to brighten up the front of our condo by staining our mahogany decks, painting our front doors, and painting our front porch railings. After 5 years, our 5 buildings and 14 units needed a fresh clean look. Alijah and his team provided just that. Attention to detail with high-quality service! Alijah arrived each day, on time, eager to work, and stayed until the job was done! Our association is very happy with E.C.E Painting and would highly recommend them.

After 2 bad experiences with painting jobs over the years, we had given up hope of having a beautiful home exterior. I am so glad we found ECE. They were fantastic. They knew what our house needed -- mainly, a thorough and professional prepping, which we had not gotten before. They took their time to make sure it was done properly, including carpentry to replace old boards. They even worked with the paint store to make sure we got the exact color we wanted. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I needed to have my quite large home on the NH seacoast painted. I found Elijah (ECE) on Home Advisor. I also had some other recommendations. After visits and estimates by six, I chose ECE because of the very good reviews, a low quote, he is a local resident in my town, family owned and operated and Elijah is a very nice guy who turned out to be and do his honest best. It is a high quality paint job. I can whole heartedly recommend him as an painter and a person. It was a pleasure having him do the work, a first in my experience.

Elijah was responsive, quoted a fair price and shows up on time. Did a great job power washing our 3 story house. Looks terrific.

After a long search, our condo association hired ECE Painters to paint the outside of our building. From the beginning there were challenges, as the building is in the historic district of Portsmouth and had to conform to certain parameters. Issues involving permits, lead paint, sidewalk usage, etc. had to be addressed, but ECE Painting handled it all with patience and professionalism. The interior of the building had been wonderfully updated, but the outside, made of both wood and brick, was shabby and worn. With great attention to detail, ECE has transformed our building; we are so happy and thankful. I should add the ECE Painting did a fantastic job for a very fair price. There is a great deal of construction and refurbishing occurring in this community, and it is difficult to get a painter to even do an estimate. ECE gave us a beautiful job at an honest price, and did not throw in unexpected or unwanted add-ons as the job progressed. Thank you ECE!

We communicated that this was going to be a small project right from the beginning and expected to be a bit more flexible with scheduling because of this, but this contractor ran me and my customer around for three weeks. When I mentioned that I was not happy and was going to look for another contractor he said "Well, maybe you shouldn't have cracked the ceiling". In conclusion : 1. The initial communication was fair. 2. Expectations were not met. 3. Contractor did not do what he said he would do on a couple of occasions.

ECE came out and power-washed the exterior of my home and then painted it beautifully. The crew was courteous and friendly and addressed any concerns and questions I had during the process. Very professional and highly recommended!

Had cedar shakes washed and stained and it came out beautiful. ECE is super easy to work with and are willing to go out of their way to help get the project right. They clearly take pride in their work.
