I was very impressed that Steve asked so many questions to determine what I wanted and then gave me options for what would work best in my home and with my budget. This was not an easy job. It included very tight spaces, an antique house, and historic district restrictions. The team finished the project early and kept me informed of the progress every day. They were always on time and worked throughout the day non-stop. I thought that since this was a new install that the house would be a wreck, but to my surprise it was as clean as they found it at the end of each day. I have been using the system for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier. It delivers exactly what I was told it would do. Strogen's has definitely earned a very loyal customer. They were not the least expensive quote I received, but I chose them because Steve was so fantastic during the interactions we had while he was quoting the system. I feel that my money was well spent, and after seeing what they did, feel that what I paid was actually very reasonable. I will be having them back next year to install another system on my first floor and will definitely be signing a contract for continued service in the future.
I really do not feel that this review does them justice - they were honestly superb! A+ rating across the board!

One of my tenants heat stopped working in the middle of February when the temps were near 0 - I immediately called Strogen's Service Experts to have them get it fixed. Again - the FIRST time I ever called for an emergency like this.
I called around 4am, at about 4pm they were finally there...the tech informed me the thermostat stopped working. He said he replaced the thermostat but some pipes had froze and theres nothing he could do. So he turned off the boiler and left. They left the property with my tenant with zero heat, frozen pipes, and bitter cold temperature outside. Not only did they do nothing...they charged me $203 for a thermostat replacement. On top of the thermostat they charged me $75 for "thaw machine" and $84 diagnostic fee. That $362.00 bill was INCLUDING my 15% discount for having a service contract...
So to sum it up - they charged me $362 to replace a thermostat and fix NOTHING.
After these people left I contacted a different heating company who PROMPTLY showed up, thawed the pipes and replaced a section that had burst, and got the boiler going again...they actually fixed the problem and still charged me LESS than Strogen's.
Like I said above, Ive used them for numerous properties over the past few years and given them thousands of my dollars in service...the one time I really needed them they totally failed me. Strogen's Service Experts will never see a dime of my money again. They'll gladly take your money for some regular cleaning/service but if you have an emergency in the middle of winter you're wasting your time and money with them.
