DAVIS CONSTRUCTION

It started off fairly well he was on time but then there were days he never showed up and never called or answered phone. The metal roof on the porch is still leaking several months after installing and numerous times coming back saying he guaranteed his work-he is now not answering phone or email from me. there are other projects he started but never finished. He always insisted on being paid half up front on each job, so now I have several jobs that need to be completed by some else and a few that have to be repaired by someone else. We had a custom built pantry and closet that he totally built wrong dimensions and we had to readjust our needs to fit his mistakes. He repeatedly left materials uncovered in the snow and rain and had us running to the store many times to pick up things he forgot. He was insistent on using collar ties on the roof for the porch and I finally had him go speak with the code enforcement office and they said they were unnecessary. I have to say there was some work that was very well done, but a leaky roof and several unfinished projects and a guarantee that meant absolutely nothing leaves a really bad experience.

Got a fixed price for the room (recommended) and agreed all that need to be done. Tom wa very flexible as the plans changed, and made some great suggestions to help the design process.
