D & S Heating

After he replaced the burner, the furnace worked for about a month, and then shut off again. I called him again and he came by and "fixed" the dirty contacts and also a filter on my oil tank. The day after he left, I had a mess of an oil spill all over my basement floor. I called my brother in law and he came by. He said the line had been cut. He replaced the copper tubing for me. A few weeks passed and my burner went out again. I called a different company and this older gentelman came right out and showed me how the contacts had been reattached - he said any vibration would eventually cause the burner to go out. After two visits by D & S, I had two mishaps and had to pay out twice. Personally, I felt I was taken advantage of as a single woman, all so eventually I'd have to buy that new furnace. It's been 5 years since I had D & S, and I have had no other issues with my furnace. I guess we all can come to our own conclusions. The worst part of it all was that he used four letter language throughout both of his entire visits. It wasn't due to something going wrong or annoyances, it was just the way he spoke. And that should have been my first inkling not to call him back. Extremely unprofessional.
