Tynan responded to my email inquiry and came out to quote and complete the job in a timely manner. He was very honest and professional. He was able to complete the job with less work than he originally thought and adjusted the bill accordingly. He was also willing to answer questions about other projects and provide his professional opinion. We will definitely be calling him again with our future electrical needs!

When I found him on Angies List I gave him a call and he called me back within an hour! Met with him at the job site a couple days later. He looked at the job and clearly and thoroughly told me what needed to be replaced and why. He did not rush his review of the job or our meeting. He told me when he could start the job and showed up on the day and time he said he would be there. He did great work and worked hard to minimize and intrusions he had to make into the ceilings or walls to replace the old wiring. He is professional, competent and very personable. It was not a big job but he said "No job was too small". Go figure?! He gave me an an estimate range for the work and when completed his invoice came in on the low side of the estimate!! I would strongly recommend you give him a shot at your job. You'll be glad you did.

Tynan assessed the problem, had a part in his truck, installed and explained the situation with faulty outlet: all in a matter of 30 minutes.

I lost my oil-fired water heater on a Saturday. After researching Angie’s List, I found a plumber who agreed to come out the following Monday morning to install a new unit. I decided to go with an electric heater rather than oil and was informed by the plumber it would require two dedicated 15 amp circuits. I went back to Angie’s List and found Tynan. He agreed to adjust his scheudule and come out on Monday morning to install the circuits. When he looked at my current electrical service, he indicated that adding the two new circuits would over-stress the main panel which, in his opinion, was already over-stressed. He gave me the option of installing a new sub-panel to carry not only the water heater circuits but also others circuits from the main panel to relieve the stress. He spent a good part of the day accomplishing the work. The end product was great. Tynan was very professional, efficient and courteous. I will definitely contact Tynan for my future electric service needs.

We have had the absolute pleasure of hiring Tynan for several residential jobs on different occasions Most recently, we were moving full size washer and dryer to a completely new location in the house, requiring a new dedicated line from the panel, fished up thru existing walls on two levels, across the attic to the new location. Tynan's work was flawless. I truly hesitate to write this for I fear he will be less available to us in the future... Hire him with complete confidence, you will not be disappointed.

Tynan did a great job installing outdoor lights. I will definitely hire him again when I need an electrician in the future.

Tynan is so concientious and completes the job in a timely and professional manner. He is very pleasant to work with; he returned my initial phone call the same day (not so with several other electricians I tried) and scheduled a visit the same week. Our initial problem was not an easy one to diagnose, but he kept on until it was identified and solved. He has completed two projects for us and we will be scheduling a third very soon.

Tynan was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. He is efficient and has great ideas for solving tricky problems in old houses. He also has a good eye for lighting and will consult with you to find beautiful and effective lighting options.

I had used Ian before and was very happy with the work and professionalism, so I decided to reach out to him again for this job. I reached out via Angie's List instead of calling directly, so it did take a few days for him to get back to me, which he apologized for when he followed up. We were able to schedule the work to be done within that following week and his brother came out and assessed the job quickly, before coming back the following day to complete the work. Tienan was punctual, professional, and helpful in explaining what he was doing and what I'd need to do to complete the set up (contact a plumber to connect the water). I ended up doing this piece myself, but appreciated that he explained they don't do the plumber set up because that's not their expertise. I was a little surprised by the cost when I received the bill, however, I did not ask for an estimate up front and didn't receive quotes from anyone else for the work. Since Ian was reasonable with the past work, I trust that this bill was similar.

Responsive, punctual, professional, and effective.  I called Ian and left a voice message at 7:30 am.  He returned my call within two hours.  He said that he would send Seamus to my house at 1:00 pm.  Seamus was right on time - not a minute late.  That alone sets this operation apart from every other electrician I have used.  The problem was an easy one to fix, so I can't evaluate performance on complicated work.  However, they did the job quickly, neatly, and professionally, and, although it was done only yesterday, things are working fine.  Seamus was neat, friendly, and professional.  I give the price a "B" simply because it feels a little high, but in fairness I did not compare pricing.  Ian told me the labor rates ahead of time.  I agreed to it and was more than happy to pay it. There were no surprises.  I will use Ian and his team again.

It was the finest customer service I had ever experienced and even called my friends to relate the amazing thing that had happened!

When I called Ian, he called back prompty and said he could have someone there within an hour.  His brother Tynan arrived promptly, was both professional and personable, and figured out our problem.  He also tested several times to make sure everything would continue working, an extra step I really appreciated.  I would definitely call Ian again if I have any further electrical issues.
