"First of all I apologize for being so delinquent in responding to this review. I just joined Angie's list and wasn't aware of my reviews until this week. I am sorry you were disappointed in our service. Obviously I would love a great review but there is something to be learned here. In older homes, it is particularly important to understand both the customers wants and needs as well as the fact that concessions often have to be made as a result of the age of the home because wiring is done by fishing through the walls. I thought I explained to (member name) that there were two options as far as the smoke detector situation. One, leave it alone at a less than optimal height due to the blocking in the wall. Or two, I could attempt to drill through the blocking to possibly get the smoke detector higher but there was no guarantee that this would be successful. If I could get it higher, the original hole would have had to be patched which seemed to make more work for the home owner. I thought we had agreed that leaving it be was the best solution. I do appreciate your feedback and will certainly learn from this experience and I apologize that you were disappointed."
"Thank you for the review! We apologize we are so delinquent in our thanks but we just joined Angies list and were not aware of these reviews until this week."
