+ -1 moreThe work was done fine but I had an issue with the pricing. The electrician was at my house for no longer than 45 minutes. I was charged for 2 hours of labor. Here is Jeff's response when I questioned it. He dropped the price $23. Beware this individual will charge you for "admin time, invoicing and travel" which is obviously absurd. Jeff's response: chris had to go to supply house, before arriving, to acquire a few different types of mounting boxes, not being sure about the light that you had. We have time in getting to you, and we have admin time for invoicing as well, this is all time needed for your work, above and beyond the actual time he was there physically. I am willing to drop invoice total to 175.00 with material. We appreciate your business. Thank you

Description of Work: Very happy with the work quality, arrived and completed as scheduled. Gave me an unanticipated cost reduction from the estimate because they would not be filling in the electrical trench (leave open for the building inspector who does not work on Saturdays).

Description of Work: Mr. Bower reviewed the wiring I had done as a home owner, identified items needing further enhancement to conform to National Electric Code and upgraded those items, namely GFCI for sump pump and deck outlets, GFCI breaker for garbage disposal / trash compactor, 5 duplex outlets needing anchored to basement wall and one ceiling light not working. Price was exactly the same as the pre-job estimate. No issues and will hire again.

+ -1 moreMy experience with Jeff and his team was great. He worked on my house and then donates his time to the Portsmouth Criterium each year. Great guy and great work.
Description of Work: Jeff Bower and his team redid all the electric in my 1800 house in Portsmouth. When I sold the house the real estate agents on both sides of the sale asked me for his contact information because they had never seen such a clean and organized wiring job in a house. This I think says it all about how Awesome his work is. Jeff also provides the Portsmouth Criterium with all their electric support for the day as a donation. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
