Service was inconsistent and not what we had requested, even after several phone requests to clarify. We received our December bill for snow removal and left a voice mail with the company on 1/6/09 to discuss discrepancies in the bill, quality and inconsistency of the service and to clarify the services we wanted once again. Our phone call was not returned. When we finally reached the owner on 1/11/09 to discuss the bill and service, he was rude, sarcastic, and finally said "Why don't you do it your f...ing self." and hung up on us. We had legitimate concerns and were very reasonable in speaking with him. When we told him we would write a review on Angie's list, he said "Who cares; we have 300 customers." We had intended to ask him whether our job was perhaps too small for his company and whether he could recommend someone else if he didn't feel that CK could meet our needs. Detail: The service was quoted as $48 for snow removal for each visit; the quote stated that a large storm occurring over many hours could require several visits. On several occasions, CK arrived after the storm had ended, only did a partial snow removal with the plow and then came back hours later with the snowblower and shovelers and charged us twice. We had asked CK several times not to plow our small crushed stone driveway, just to shovel and snowblow, so we should only have been charged once. On several occasions, they did a partial removal with the plow, charged us the full $48, did not return and we had to shovel the remainder ourselves.
