I used them for 15 years and I never had any problems until this year. Now, they don't return calls and I paid them promptly. If they return calls, they don't come. I switched, I gave up on them. I don't use them any more. The wife is the one who takes the calls but she doesn't return. If they say they will call you back, they don't call you back. I called the next day and she was like, 'Oh, you have got to turn that water off. We didn't come yesterday and so we didn't call you but you have got to turn that water off.' If I didn't know that, wouldn't I have been in big trouble. Their price was reasonable. I gave them a C because they don't come or call anymore. They did the same thing to my neighbor, it seems they got too busy for themselves. If you don't return calls, you can't call that very professional. I would never use them again.

I recently took ownership of this home.  The faucet in the tub started to drip and then it became a constant stream. I called Berry & Jones early in the week and they had a plumber to my house that very Thursday.  Arrived on time.  Did the job and left everything neat.  Worked with me to arrange a time that met my schedule.  Very professional and pleasant.  Will definitely use Berry & Jones as my plumbers going forward.

Called to get an appointment to have an old leaky outdoor water spigot replaced and moved. Since it was not an emergency (I called on a Wednesday), they asked if it was OK to wait to set up the appointment until the following week.
Got a call the following Monday to set up an appointment on that Wednesday. Plumber was scheduled to be here between 10AM and noon. They promptly arrived at 10AM and had it replaced and moved in a little over an hour. Very professional and courteous. Will use them again in the future.

I called this company twice just to try and schedule an appointment.  The first time I called, I never heard back but since the reviews were good on here, I tried again and didn't hear back until a week later.   Their back office is a joke.  Ended up using someone else but I'm putting the review up here to let the owner know so maybe they can fix it.

The plumber who did the work found the leak quickly and had the parts with him to correct the issue in short order. Their price for fixing the leak was very reasonable and the plumber was helpful and professional.
I'll definitely use Berry & Jones in the future.
My only complaint was that I was anticipating that the plumber would be at my house by 2pm and I had to wait in excess of an hour after the starting time for the appointment before the plumber showed up. When I contacted the receptionist/dispatcher, she indicated that the window she gave me for the appointment was the time window in which the plumber would arrive. I probably should have clarified when I made the appointment. As a result, I was disappointed with the punctuality, but the service was impeccable!

Arrived on time, performed work flawlessly and at a fair price.  Very reliable and dependable.

We called because we need to replace our water heater and this company came very highly recommended on Angie's List.
We were told that one of two people would call us back on Monday. When we didn't get a call by Wednesday, we left a message. It is now the end of the day Thursday and they still have not contacted us back. I'm sorry we have lost a week and now have to contact another provider.

Went great. They were punctual and great to work with. They have become my plumbers when I have need for one. Have already used them again on another water heater issue.

Very professional in all phases including initial phone contact to make the appointment, job quoting, on-time to appointment, installation, and follow up. Price quoted matched what was billed exactly. No complaints at all.

When I initially called the office, my call was taken by a real person and all details of the job were discussed, including the amount charged per hour. We scheduled a time and date, and both were met exactly as planned. All work was done to our satisfaction. Will definitely use this plumber again and would definitely recommend to others.

These guys know their stuff!

I had a 10+ year old 40 gallon hot water heater begin to have a slow leak. They came and replaced the hot water heater and had to do some rewiring as it's used as a storage tank after my furnace. I also had a shower value in a rarely used bathroom that wouldn't provide any hot water. They replaced the stem. The breakdown was $800 for the hot water tank and $65 for the shower fix.
The work was done very well and very quickly, although I guess I would have expected it to be closer to the $600 range for the hot water heater as I paid that about 6-7 years ago for a 50 gallon hot water tank when I was living in Massachusetts.
Overall I was happy and I would use them again.

I had a frozen pipe leading to an upstairs bathroom. I had searched before and could not figure out where the pipe came up from the basement. The person who came to fix the problem was able to track down the pipe and then electrically get the water running again. I had kept heat on in the upstairs to keep the pipes from freezing, but he found a space where the pipe had gone into an attic. He recommended to me what I could insulate to avoid the problem in the future.
I guess the price isn't bad for a plumber, but for an hour's work, it seems high. The price included labor and use of the thawing machine. I guess I would have thought the thawing machine was a tool to help the plumber to do their job rather than a separate expense. (Especially given that the machine itself had to be at least 30 years old.)

Called for service for leaky bathtub spout replacement and toilet repair as water was running continuously in toilet.
They gave me a small window of when technician would arrive. He was there when expected, very efficient and nice.
He replaced both parts in about an hour and I thought the price was reasonable.
They are very busy so you may need to wait a few days for an appointment, but I had a good experience with this company and will continue to use them.

They fixed my problem an came out the same day I called. It was the day before Thanksgiving. What more can I say!

Showed up on time and fixed the problem in less than 2.0 hours.

Great! He was here on time and did his work well. I didn't have to ask, he removed his shoes to protect my new wood floor.

This is a small company with two employees but I didn't have a problem getting our work scheduled in an efficient manner. Jim was clean and efficient, bill came in a timely manner and was reasonable. I would be happy to use them again. I am confident in the work that they do, these guys don't scrimp to get the job done faster- they just do it right.
