"Hi [Member Name Removed], I was shocked by your review for several reasons. To start, you gave the painters a $200 tip on the final day of work and thanked them for a wonderful job. Although there were a couple valid complaints you made during the project, they were easy fixes that would have been taken care of as the work progressed. Other complaints you raised were about areas not yet started or still unfinished. Still other issues you had were not due to our workmanship at all (one example being the paint on your foundation, which we had “before” pictures of and explained to you). The pictures in your review are not a fair and accurate representation of the work we performed. They show carpentry repairs before they were fully finished. When first installed, the boards along the foundation did settle causing them to be out of alignment, however we fixed that issue. We also made sure there were no hammer marks in the window frame pieces before we finished the job. Your pictures seem to be from when the project was still in progress. The plywood side of your garage was very weathered and pitted. The crew leader and I explained that there could be some “shadowing” effect still after it is painted. We added a second topcoat for free to help improve the look. As for the windows, we did use liquid mask on all the 25 plus window sashes we painted, which means that all glass had to be scored and cleaned thoroughly. If we missed cleaning up one area, we would have come back to fix it. You also raised the issue about the “texture” left on some of the trim work, which is a natural result of scraped paint, not due to “rollers” being used. We addressed this issue with you in person, explaining that you would have to power sand/strip all the paint off the trim to remove these kinds of inert imperfections. We will own and correct our mistakes on any job, but I feel strongly that your review is undeserved and should be removed."
