I didn’t have such a good experience with them. I like their positive attitude. What I didn’t like is they tried to fix it for $450 and they couldn’t. They told me it will be another $1,000 to finish it. That has been my bad experience with them. Up to $450 there was to be no warranty. After they did that work they told me that it wasn’t fixed. They actually had to put a used transmission and they finally did that. Then they put the parts that they would try to put in the first one in. The parts they were going to put in $450, they put in the used transmission. They seemed to be open on weekends. They run a new management and they are trying to get the business off the ground. It was handy to be able to get out in the weekend. There were people there so that I could take the vehicle off. They did fix it fast but I didn’t expect the cost to explode like that. I have got quotes from other places for a rebuild and it was $2,500. The warranty was good but there was a frustration because it took longer. I expected to get it fixed before the 15th and it wasn’t. They essentially rebuilt the transmission for less than the price of other guy. When I picked up the car there was a check engine light on. They should have checked the check engine light and it also needed an alignment. They would have done the alignment but I wanted the car right away. I cannot fault them for that and the check engine light turned out to be a connection problem. My son fixed that problem. They kept trying, trying and trying but they didn’t get it done. They were pretty responsive but their assessment of the situation was at defect. The guy told me that he had 30 years of experience in transmission business. May be it was his bad luck. He was there, he did it and he worked on the weekend. There were there when they said they would be. They were pretty professional. I would expect a little bit better knowledgement.
