Seacoast Replacement Windows

John said he'd get to us as quickly as he could, but he had a lot of work (an encouraging problem) and couldn't promise any specific time. However, he was ready to install a little over two months after receiving our go-ahead. The morning he expected to install, he called and apologized that he'd inadvertently ordered the wrong shade of brown, and he'd have to re-order them. My wife & I were impressed, because a less honest person could have gone ahead and installed the wrong brown and then claimed that the colors don't always look in reality the way they appear on the printed page. So his response to an understandable human error confirmed our decision that he was the right man for the job. (It had been three years since beginning the search process, so another month of waiting was insignificant to us.) When he and his crew did the installation, John apologized again for the delay. The installation was efficient and expert; they took care of some hidden rot issues; he didn't add hidden costs to the bill; and we now have first-rate windows that should last many years. We're sorry that he does only windows and that therefore we likely won't need to engage him again, because we think that he does high quality work with integrity. We highly recommend him and his firm.

We were very happy with Seacoast from start to finish. I got several estimates after attending a home show. Seacoast was not the cheapest but I felt they would do the best job. They wrap the entire window with insulation before installing it. When I asked others how they installed they said the put the window in first and the insulate, leaving the bottom of the window with out insulation. I wanted to use Seacoast but needed to stick with my budget. One of the owners, John came back out and we negotiated a price we could both work with. I was very happy to be able to hire them!
