Having worked with Brian before, I suggested that we do this project on a time and materials basis given the likelihood of unforeseen problems and my preference to carry the contingency, myself; if you trust the contractor, this is usually the less expensive way to contract emergency repair projects. Again, Brian and Rob exceeded my expectations. We have received numerous compliments from neighbors and friends on the superb quality of this work and the speed of its completion.

Although a fire of this size is always a major lifetime trauma and a major inconvenience, Brian's daily involvement gave us the absolute confidence that we were making the right decisions. His subcontractors also exceeded our expectations. Brian took great care to understand our own aesthetic tastes and budget and was not afraid to challenge us when he thought particular suggestions from us or subcontractors were inconsistent with these standards. Our 22 year-old African Grey Parrot now calls him "Uncle" and frequently asks to see him! Brain is definitely family now!

We were expecting far more disruption and damage to the finishes and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and fast the installation was.
