Ron was responsive to my initial call, was prompt in coming to evaluate the situation, and quickly provided me with a quote. He was flexible in scheduling the installation. The team arrived as scheduled, were efficient, professional, and cleaned up each day. The job went amazingly well and they finished before the anticipated time line. My final bill was less than expected, as Ron modified the balance (without being asked) to adjust for things that were on the estimate, but that they didn't actually need to do. The floor is beautiful, matches my dining room floor perfectly, and runs seamlessly from one room to the next. I will definitely hire them again. Ron and his team were excellent in all phases of the process. Regarding prices: I cannot compare prices, as he was my only estimate. FYI, I had called two other flooring places who either never called back, or called back and scheduled an evaluation but then they didn't show up.

Ron was very responsive with any questions as well as extremely accommodating and flexible with changes in scheduling. He was very proficient in his knowledge of bamboo flooring. He was on time, did the work in the time expected for the quote he provided. He came back to make one adjustment in a quick and timely manner and at the same time helped us out with something additional that was unrelated. Would absolutely recommend without reservation.

We had the hardwood floors (our entire first floor) refinished. They had not been done in 12 years, during which time they endured significant wear and tear from kids, dogs and heavy (often wet) sports equipment being dragged across them. There were some areas that were so bad I thought we would need to replace sections of the flooring. Ron was responsive and informative about the process. His crew was timely, professional, courteous and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. The project started, ended and cost exactly as quoted. The floors look incredible! Several people who knew we were having the floors done thought we decided to have them replaced because they look brand new. Another surprise is that 'dustless' really is dustless, and there was no giant mess afterwards! I highly recommend them!

Excellent Arrived on time Done in less than expected

They showed up on time and worked quickly to pull up the old carpet and install the new hardwood floor. In the end the floors came out great and we are very happy with their service.

Ron was fantastic. He was easy to deal with on the phone, he remembered details, he showed up on time, his people were polite and neat and he did a great job. I highly recommend him.

We did give him money to come out and put on another coat yesterday. My husband and I insisted on doing that but we have some other issues here that are keeping us from having the floors finished. We have pets. So it's just complicated. He charged $1500.00 and my husband gave him another $200.00 for him coming out yesterday. Which he didn't have to do but my husband insisted. He thought it was our fault that we had put something on the floors. I tried to explain that some oily something may have seeped up through the boards. But when I looked it up there were other reasons for what had happened. So I'm not exactly sure about what the right reason is. It didn't happen when he did the other coats so I'm not sure what happened with this coat. I don't think he's completely sure about what happened. I don't know. He also said that with the water base finish they have a hard time seeing what's going on with the floors. I don't know the lighting in the room. I asked if he wanted the light on he said no that will just make it worst. The only way you can see the problems is by seeing the floor from certain angles of light shining on it at a certain way and then feeling it. So I can give him the benefit of the doubt. My husband spotted some other places and Mr Wilson did fix those places.

I chose to use them because he seemed to understand our situation. We have other floors that have been done thirteen or fourteen years ago by someone completely different who is not in business anymore. I found a slip that had what the finish was and he understood that completely and he adjusted the estimate for that. He could do the work very soon. His estimate was more. It was less expensive than the most expensive estimate It was kind of in the middle. After talking to the other two. I felt he would do a good job and he was quite a bit cheaper than the most expensive guy. He was more enthusiastic about the project than the first guy. They all understood how it was to be done. They had different suggestions about what finish to put on and how to try and match these floors I already had. They all understood that too. We had to bring him back after the floors dried for a week. They weren't as smooth as the older floors and my husband talked to him about it. So they had to come out again and put another coat on it. So now they look like they are just as smooth except now there are some other problems that has something to do with the other coat. I'm not sure whether we are just going to leave them or if we are going to try and fix them. We did give him money to come out and put on another coat.

Floors look great, Ron did the work in the time promised.

We bought a home that had hardwood in kitchen, living, and dining rooms with carpet in family room and all 4 bedrooms, one set of stairs, and a loft. We had 3 companies give us quotes that were all generally the same. We chose Ron because we wanted to support a small business, and he we appreciated that he took the time needed to answer all our questions thoroughly. After we decided on him we learned that one of our co-workers had also used Ron in the past and was very happy with their flooring, so we felt we’d made a good choice. We had to wait several weeks for Ron to start (which would have been the case with the others too), and when moving in we had left most of our furniture in storage, knowing we would be having the floors done. Therefore preparing for the project wasn't too bad for us, other than living with very basic furnishings, and once the project started, sleeping on cots in the screened porch for a week. Ron was able to start within a day of his original estimated date and the entire process was completed just outside the timeframe he had estimated. When Ron himself was at the job everything went smoothly. However when he wasn't there the other workers weren't as meticulous or as tidy as Ron would have been. After they left for the day we sometimes had to negotiate an obstacle course of equipment and debris to get to the few rooms we needed to use (bathrooms mostly), and we found cigarette butts in the yard and driveway more than once. One day a worker just didn't show up at all, so the crew was short a person which resulted in a slight delay in advancing the project. We weren't satisfied with the sanding of the new stairs on one of the staircases and had to ask to have it fixed. When the poly eventually went down it seemed to be drying unevenly and had differing sheen from room to room, so we were concerned they were using two different types of product. Ron came back by and assured us it was all the same but that the lighting from room to room created the illusion of differing finishes. After that we checked the rooms at different times of day and decided he was correct. None of these issues was terrible; we've had much worse experiences with contractors in the past. A couple weeks after the job was done and we had finally moved our furniture into the house, the weather got cooler and we had to turn the heat on. We found a leak from a bedroom above the kitchen, staining the kitchen ceiling and wall. We cut into the ceiling and discovered that while installing the hardwood in that bedroom, a nail had punctured the heating pipe, and that was causing the leak. We were busy with interior painting and many other projects so never called Ron to discuss. Instead we had a plumber come out and patch the pipe, and then we fixed the ceiling and painted over the drips on the wall. We do see some minor buckling on the hardwood below the leak in the kitchen, but we cannot say for certain if it was there before we started the flooring project or if it was a result of the leak. So we are not holding Ron responsible for the buckling, but the punctured pipe was definitely a result of the hardwood installation. Otherwise the floors look terrific and we are glad we made the investment. Overall we had a good experience with Ron himself, but his workers are not quite as professional or as conscientious. We were not totally happy with the quality of the refinishing. They came to see what we're not happy with. There were small specks of dust and a bumps in the finish, so he took a piece of sandpaper and sanded a couple, but that left a couple of small areas with little or no finish. After 2 years we had 3 large areas down to the wood with no finish. Now after 4 years the floors look worse now than before we had them finished. If anyone is thinking of having this company refinish their floors you are more than welcome to come see our hardwood floors and how poorly the work was done.

We prepped the rooms ourselves by removing old carpeting, pad and staples to save some money. Ron came in to lay down the Mirage hardwood flooring which we had purchased already. He was on time and with some help from his son at one point did a great job with the install. Everyone who has seen the rooms say the floors look great.

GREAT, Ron was knowledgable and professional. He was able to lay new floors and finish existing floors to look the same, something we had been told by others was impossible. We couldn't be more pleased. They are beautiful !

Ron and his crew were great. Very punctual, got the job done in the time frame they promised, even though they ran into bumps along the way. They explained everything they did to us and made sure we were comfortable with the finished product. I love the look of the floor and have actually called them again for a second job.
