The job started okay, the vinyl siding went up quick and the alluminum trim for the most part was in place. The windows and doors were on hold due to an issue with the town, they wanted me to upgrade to fireproof doors and egress windows so I gave Stan more work on the interior as things were going okay. this was a rundown apatment building and I had Stan remodeling the inside from top to bottom and to make a long story short on 2-8-10 there was a fire that destroyed the main part of the building, the part Stanley was working in so Stan and I were working together to resolve the 6 contracts that were in progress, and while I was going through the contracts I made a call to the window company and discovered they didn't exist, at least where his invoice said they were located and they have never had an order from him. So I called another company on a different invoice and that company did exist but it turns out the invoice was a fake, he called to get a quote but never ordered the materials that I paid for and then he said they were lost in the fire. Stanley Rasimowicz completely scammed me and owes me somewhere around 30K, I don't have the exact number yet due to all of his lies and to what was lost in the fire or not lost, the officials are quite interested in his actions. I would not recommend this contractor for any type of work, he is a smooth talker and tells you what you want to hear. Do a background check if you're even thinking about this guy.
