Please note that the "approximate cost of service" in this review is for the work done at our residence (the most recent work) -- the price includes all materials and labor. We were referred to this company by a friend and invited them to bid the job at the Dracut house. We had already researched materials online and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. The owner of the business personally brought us material samples based on an initial phone conversation. He was very knowledgeable and willing to discuss the pros and cons of various choices. We ended up switching to a gorgeous Bamboo material he recommended and it turned out to be lower cost than the material we originally thought we wanted. As far as the installation goes the workmanship and attention to detail was fantastic. We were so happy with the work in the Dracut house that a few weeks later we contracted for new flooring at our Groton home. To illustrate their professionalism and thoroughness when the work was begun in Groton a problem with the original construction was discovered. When they pulled up the old carpeting it was discovered that the bottom wall moulding had been placed (by the builder) at the level of the carpet, leaving a large gap when it was replaced with flooring (the rug being much thicker). The installers devised a wonderful solution on the spot; a 1/4 " round piece of wood at the bottom of the wall moulding to cover the gap. For a very small additional cost they went and purchased the needed material, painted it and then installed it along with the flooring. The result was very satisfactory (the attached photo of a corner shows how things looked when finished). Our project moved forward without missing a beat! In Groton, the installation took two days. The workmen appeared right on time at 8 AM each day, they were very professional and pleasant, had all the right tools and worked a bit late each day to ensure things were properly cleaned up before they left. Here's a final anecdote to illustrate the great job these folks do. A week after the Dracut house sold we were contacted by our real estate agent. The buyer of the house loved the Bamboo flooring and wanted to know who had installed it so he could contact them about additional work. We learned that the new floors were a big factor in their decision to buy this home. That's quite a recommendation!
