It was a joke from the very first service call. At first, he blamed it on needing to be recharged as the system was installed during the winter and they do not charge system that time of year for new installs. I discovered that these are charged at the factory when built. On one of his initial visits, I was left at the house waiting for 4 hours for the return of the contractor, only to learn that he wasn't coming back. The contractor never showed up on time, and when he did show, he had no freon or the parts necessary to complete the work. He refused to replace the entire system as he needed to follow the manufacturers protocol for replacing one component at a time. This should not have been my problem. It took B&M nearly two months of trial an error to get the system working. It came to the point that when he said "it's working now" (for the 6th or 7th time) that my wife made him stay until the indoor temperature dropped at least 1 degree. He never even cleaned up after himself.
