Green Mountain Furniture

I have shopped at this store in the past. I Bought a hide a bed couch 5 years ago and had to return the it because of tiny bleach like spots on it. They then delivered the second one which was fine. I did get a 10% discount at the time of purchase because I mentioned that my sister bought a lot of her furniture there. This year I decided to go back to buy a twin bed frame with a trundle underneath and mattresses to go with it. I decided what I wanted and asked them to give me a discount. They replied, without a seconds thought, that it was not their business to give discounts and the prces they put on their items were the lowest they would go. We left without buying anything. In the meantime we found the trundle part of the bed and a mattress at an estate sale. After a few months time I decided to go back and buy just one mattress and the high twin bed frame. I, again, picked out the matress I wanted and the sales person went to check on the price for just the frame for the high part of the bed. By the time I got to the front of the store, maybe 10 minutes, she had gone somewhere to talk to whomever this "in Charge" person is only to say they couldn't sell me just the twin bed frame because they "think" that it comes as a set with the trundle underneath. They said even if they did and ordered another one it would take 8-10 weeks to get and so.....no they couldn't sell me that. I had the money in my pocket, took 10 minutes of this sales persons time and this was a bed back in the farthest corner of their vast building. How many of these sparse metal bed frames could they be selling so they THEY couldn't wait the 8-10 weeks to get in a new one? Or, could they have possibly have called the supplier to find out if this actually could only be bought as a set, because they didn't know. I am in the market for some leather living room furniture that I had my eye on from there but will search much farther than there before I ever do business with them again!!
