We signed a contract with Yankee Construction to build a garage. As I was living in another state at the time, most of our discussions were done via email. Dave provided prompt and thorough responses. In addition to the garage, we discussed a few additional tasks, some Dave said that he could do while others were outside his normal scope of work. Which was fine. But then, shortly before the job was to begin, he responded to a request with the terse email stating "We will not be able to accommodate the requested changes to the scope of work and have decided to cancel this project" I sent him text, email, and phone messages stating that it was okay if he didn't do the new request but he didn't respond to any of my inquiries. I have never seen such a sudden change in a contractor. p.s. Since Yankee Construction did not build the garage, I really can't rate the work quality or cost value but this form requires an entry in those fields

The best experience I have ever had with a construction company (and I've had many!). Ted and crew are professionals in every sense of the word. From start to finish they have been immediately responsive to our many questions with a "can do" friendly attitude. Workmanship is perfect and very reasonable pricing. Do not look any further.

We hired Yankee Construction to do a large basement and bathroom remodel and they did a fabulous job. They are true professionals who make a plan, create a budget, provide regular progress reports and take pride in the quality of what they do. They show up when they say they will! Yankee Construction recently finished remodeling our garage. We have found the owners and their crew to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. Ted and Dave run their business with the utmost integrity. After sharing our vision for the project, Ted wrote up a comprehensive proposal that included adding beams to the garage ceiling to restore the integrity of a structure that was built in 1932. I appreciate the time he spent thinking through various solutions until he came up with a plan that was cost-effective, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. Their attention to detail is commendable, and I can highly recommend Yankee Construction as a top-notch business.

Project was a time and materials interior wall replacement due to structural damage caused by termites. Very knowledgeable concerning all aspect of carpentry,drywall and painting work. Crew is friendly and take the time to explain what they are doing and alert you to any changes to the project so you are never taken by surprise. Provided a break down of project cost and explained the invoice. Highly recommend them.

We had Yankee finish off our walkup attic space, a large 900+ sq foot third floor area. We did some work ourselves, some with third parties and integrating that into the schedule with Yankee couldn't have been easier. We made alterations and redefined several aspects to the job "on-the-fly". Dave was very accommodating and clear about the impact of each topic discussed. We are in the final touch-up punch list phase and are overjoyed with the final product. We have future plans for other jobs and we don't plan on going any where else for the work.

All of the crew has been professional, personable and courteous. They take customer service seriously; communication has been excellent. Their workmanship and attention to detail is excellent. I am sure we will hire them again for upcoming projects.

We had two projects with Yankee Construction, one was to turn two small rooms into one large bedroom with a closet which was a great addition our 1930's home. The second was to add a garage and master bath to the remodeled bedroom. Ted was great by giving direction to the designs and what could work in our space and with the house itself, many of the details we hadn't even thought of before. He brought reality to our ideas and kept us on track by describing why certain items would work and why some wouldn't. He even worked with us to review and update the architect's plans. We get compliments about the new construction from people who have lived in the area for a long time, our house is in a high traffic area and people definitely notice the work. What we ended up with was not our original plan but it turned into an even better design we love to show off.
