PREFERRED MOVERS

This is the 5th time that I have used Preferred Movers and they were excellent. This time I had the team of Tommy and Tristan, who were professional, accommodating, and focused on every detail moving some very heavy and large pieces of bedroom furniture. When we got to Boston, they accommodated a busy street, long walks, some steep stairs and everything went very well. They stayed upbeat and energetic all day and completely took away any stress associated with moving. I would use Preferred again and request those two gentleman for my moving team. Thank you!

Easy process to set it with office personnel. The day before, a confirmation call was received. The day of the move to storage, the lead person called with a estimated time of arrival for himself and the truck with the crew. The lead arrived and started labeling and inventorying furniture and belongings. Truck with crew arrived and was careful, package (protective wrapping) and professional with movement of belongings to the truck. Workers cleaned up after loading. All paperwork was in order.

I would wholeheartedly recommend these movers to anybody, and it was the second time I had to use them myself they are reasonable and highly professional. I’ve never worked with the better.

Horrid. Pat was supposed to be there and left kids to move my things. Notations were made, saying all of my furniture was very worn and scratched. Huge damage upon delivery. No communication after. Lies! And yes....my things thrown down stairs, left on the street. Horrid. Leg broken off this piece and hidden.

The movers were very friendly and thorough. The furniture was inventoried and moved without any problems.

Preferred Movers did a great job, they were very friendly and professional and the moved the large fish tank (which is very heavy) into place without issues. I would definitely call them again!

Unfortunately I have moved several times in my lifetime. This was by far the smoothest and easiest. The company person I dealt with was Jamie. She was very accommodating and polite. The 3 gentleman who moved us were also the best employees I've seen in a long time. I run a business also and would hire anyone of them in a heartbeat. My wife was very comfortable having these 3 guy's coming in and out of our home. To me, that's more important than anything. These guy's were very careful, polite and did anything we needed. They had to remove a door to get some furniture in and - no problem...... If anyone is looking to move this is your company to call!!!!!!!

I cant say enough about how great this company is from the very first phone call. We called and only had a few weeks out to schedule the move and they had no problem with getting us a date that worked. They called that morning to let us know they were on their way. A team of three guys, very professional, hard working and took such good care of every single piece of furniture. Will definitely use them again in the future!!

Travis and Andrew were hardworking and had a lot of work to do, which they did without complaint or questions. Whatever we wanted they were willing, very good attitudes. A few boxes were missed but I’m not sure that was entirely their fault since we had SO much stuff and we were all a bit hectic. We found somewhere to store them until we need to get our storage back, so no biggie.

I just keep coming back to these movers. They are prompt, helpful, professional and they put up with my issues. I have used them six times for my parents' various retirement moves, many with a full grand piano. No issues whatsoever in 12 years.

Move went okay after initial misunderstanding. Driver was not aware that some items would need to be packed before loading. After that issue was resolved, the move was accomplished. A few pieces were damaged ie handle on night stand is broken so drawer cannot be opened. Not sure I would hire this company again. Also, driver watched as I filled out the evaluation form at end of move. Intimidating.

The move went very easy, no stress! The team showed up right on time and were very professional, for a young crew. The move was a bit more complicated than a "normal" move....it was "Move In" for Northeastern....alot of traffic, trucks and confusion. The crew handles the situation with no problem. Everything was delivered on time with zero damage. I would highly recommend Preferred Movers!!!

The move went very well. The guys arrived a bit early, which was wonderful. They moved the boxes quickly and efficiently, to the area I had requested. All of the costs, times, and expectations were very clearly outlined by the company when I made my initial inquiry. The only downside to the experience was the price. I paid $209 and I knew this, before they started; this was the agreed price. The drawback, as I see it, is that the company’s travel time is included as part of the hour for which I paid. This meant, if they spent 15 minutes getting to my location and 15 minutes getting back to their hub, I was really getting 30 minutes of service +/-, for an hour paid. Luckily, the job was only about half an hour and I knew I was paying $209, so no harm, no foul. If you have a big, time consuming job, you won’t find a more professional company. But, for a smaller move, like mine, I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Perhaps the competitors are all around the same price. You may want to consider getting friends to help rather than spending the money. I would definitely hire them again, if I had a large move.

If there was an opportunity to give 0 stars I would do it. This company is horrible! I moved in fall of 2019. They still haven't settled my insurance claim and last contact with them I was told they were laying off and probably going our of business. They damaged and lost items . They were almost a month overdue with delivery after reneging on delivery dates.They changed my contract without notice and refused to unload the truck until I paid the increase. My move was from Maine to Florida Worst experience dealing with a company ever. Don't do it!

I have them moved a piano across the states. The price was very reasonable, the crew showed up on time, handled the piano with care and finished the job smoothly. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have moved six (6) times since I've lived here in NH over the past ten (10) years. Preferred Movers we're the best, most professional/respectful/honest movers we've ever used. I appreciated that they asked before taking action and that they notified me of any issues, whereas other movers just let you discover any issues after the move. The team was able to overcome the challenge of fitting everything in one truck and with Caleb's direction/oversight they got the job done. Preferred Movers took care of us from pick up through delivery and even delivered a day early!! If you want the comfort of knowing your belongings will be properly taken care of from start to finish then Preferred Movers are the best choice as they are properly named and if ever I move again I know I would prefer to hire Preferred Movers again!! The move went very well. Some miscommunication in the beginning, but they made the move happen with ease! John M. And Brian were both professional and efficient. Very respectful. Especially with Covid-19 going on I was very appreciative of the service they supplied. Definitely would recommend them for your moving needs!@

The guys that did the moving were great. Hot and muggy, but they kept going! These young men worked hard!

We have moved 14 times in our married life and this was the best ever! We were told there would be 3 guys and we got 4 for the same price.. each man was professional, respectful, and hard working. Not one thing was broken or damaged. They not only moved heavy furniture up stairs to our bedroom level but rearranged it in the room to because i wanted the bed facing a different direction from the way my husband had told them. When the job was nearly done they realized we were missing some bolts, nuts and washers to assemble my daughters bed frame. They waited while I drove to hardware store, even though they could have left. I have never been happier with a moving company. From Paul in the office to team leader John and his amazing crew Zach, Dave and Nate we can't sing their praises enough. I have never had a move where i was calm yet with Precerred I was. God blesss them

John c.. and Dan were great to work with. They came in and explained what they going to move 1st and last. Laid down pads at both locations to protect floors and were very careful not to damage walls or stairs. Preferred movers are lucky to have them as employees. I would hire Preferred Movers again and request both John C. and Dan.

Excellent company. They went out of their way to accommodate some last minute changes. The move went perfectly.

Everything was done quickly and professionally. Care was taken by the movers to not do any damage.
