Excellent service was performed. Very professional, clean, polite, etc. Definitely would hire again. Explained the whole process and what tasks were being performed. Very reasonable. Already schedule appointment for a follow-up cleaning in mid-June.

They were punctual and very easy to talk with. They completed the inspection and requested that we get a stainless steel liner before contacting them again for cleaning.

It was great. Both Angie's list and our Realtor recommended them, The appointment process was very straight forward. They showed up on time and took the time to explain everything they were doing. Our damper had a little quirk that they showed me how to deal with. They did not try to upsell anything but pointed out things we may want to do in the future. Very clean and no mess left over. The rose at the end was a nice touch. Extremely impressed!

He arrived at the specified time. Explained the proceedure to me, and then performed the service. He was professional and helpful during the entire visit. The price had been stated to me when I booked the service over the phone. and he stuck to that agreed upon price. All in all it was a pleasant and businesslike performance. Much superior to my dealings with other chimney cleaning companies.

I just bought a new house, and needed some expertise on our chimney pertaining to what kind of stoves we could attach. We were planning on buying a new pellet stove, and wanted to ensure we were attacking the project the correct way. New to the area, I actually called a different Chimney sweep service. That particular company I found on Angie's list, and I called and left 4 messages over a week. No return calls. We were hoping to get someone in quick before we moved all of our furniture in, so this was frustrating. I then found Seacoast Sweep on Angie's list and decided to give a call. Even though they don't service on weekends, I expressed my situation (I work 7am-7pm during the week), and the owner came out himself Saturday morning for me. He gave a full inspection of all 3 chimney flue's, and went on the roof to check out the cap and take more pictures of our chimney. I asked many questions, and he was very personable and eager to make sure I understood everything there was to know. I highly recommend The Seacoast Sweep and will be using them again to service my chimney going forward.

Very professional service from beginning to end. Scheduling was getting tight and I was booked promptly. The man who came to the house was very professional and polite. He let me know exactly what he was doing at all times. When he finished up he cleaned up and I was given a rose as part of the coimpany's customer service. Nice touch.

When I moved here I just found them in my telephone book. All they did was sweep. The last time they were here for cleaning it cost me $99. I don't know why they charged me that much for inspection. The guy I really like is Phil Mitchell the owner. The person who came the last two times was his assistant. Phil used to come, and he gave me a good deal because my chimney doesn't need to be swept. It is clean because I don't use the fire place. This guy who came to inspect my fireplace charged me a high price when he was here. It could be a new price I have no idea, he did not tell me. They are on time. Phil Mitchell is professional.

I was able to schedule my appointment through email, which is far more convenient for me, to which I got prompt responses and friendly, professional dialogue.
The technician was prompt and courteous, even took his shoes off when he entered my house, which was completely unnecessary, but showed a respect for my property and home. Seeing as how this was the first time I have ever hired a chimney sweep and had my chimney cleaned he was very informative about the process. He took the time to explain exactly what he was going to and explained to me the mechanics of the chimney as a system so I could better utilize and care for my wood stove. He did a full visual inspection from the clean out in the basement all the way to the cap on the roof before beginning any work to make sure he didn’t perform any unnecessary work that I didn’t need and I would have to pay for. He performed the cleaning; even taking apart the exhaust pipes from the wood stove to clean inside them as well, in a very thorough fashion and left absolutely no mess when he was through. Once he was done he offered some advice to correct a minor deficiency that was existing that I can easily fix myself. He also was very honest about the frequency I would need cleanings based on my current usage and did not try and over-sell me on unnecessary services. Overall the experience was great. He was very helpful in explaining what I did and didn’t needed and performed the job quickly, thoroughly, and safely. Will definitely call them again next time.
