VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE

I use Valvoline for all family cars. Its great to have them keep track of the maintenance for us. They are always very quick, and perform the maintenance while I wait in the car reading my email. They suggest maintenance service that would normally be done by the dealer. This saves money and saves me dropping my car off at the dealer. I can choose which items I want to service each time I take a vehicle in. Even my brand new vehicles never see the dealer anymore for service (unless something is covered under warranty). They are always friendly and send me coupons to my email.

They do a fine job. Quick and thorough.

I typically change my own oil, but I was way overdue and was about to go for a long road trip after work, so I pulled in to VIOC planning to drop my car off and walk back to work (nearby) and pick it up later. Maybe it's my lack of instant oil change experience, but I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate attention as I pulled in. After verifying if I was there for an oil change versus a state inspection, I was guided right away to a bay, where I was given well thought out directions by a coordinated staff. There was some subtle, and some less than subtle attempts at upsells, including the possibility of synthetic oil, a myriad of fluid flushes, and even some pink windshield wipers. In no way did they make me feel bad about saying no to the upsells, as I've experienced before. By the time they were done asking me maintenance questions, I was done, without even leaving the car, as the other staff buzzed around and finished the oil change. It was a good, quick show if nothing else.
