TKI CONSTRUCTION

We are very happy with the results. TKI started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. The craftsmanship was first rate. This was a much harder job than it sounds because they had to do the finish work on a job that was out of square in every dimension. The skylight openings are now beautiful and completely hide how out of square the rough work is. As for the railing again TKI had to deal with issues left by an earlier crew. In this case beams had twisted and started to pull away from joining members. There was also a structural post that was in line with the proposed railing. We discussed several options and TKI provided useful suggestions, without insisting the work be done a certain way. After weighing options, the beams were brought back in line with some custom steel plates and the railing incorporated the structural post. The result is a solid railing for the loft that looks great and complements the post and beam look in that part of the home.
