NASHUA SIDING & WINDOWS

We hired Nashua Siding and Windows to replace our existing wood exterior with vinyl siding in the spring of 2020. Right from the initial quote Frank (owner) was upfront, honest, fair and very informative on the scope of the project and the details of this type of job. Frank’s quote was very reasonable and inclusive of all finishing details with no hidden costs or up charges. Being homeowners with little knowledge of the vinyl siding process prior to this project we had numerous questions and concerns. Frank not only responded immediately to all of our inquiries but he also took the time to really explain the process and make sure we understood all of our options (especially during the color selection process). Once the job started the Nashua Siding and Windows crew was very respectful, hard working and detail oriented. Any areas of concern were brought to our attention (minor plywood rot under existing wood) and handled immediately as they truly were making sure the work was “done right” to avoid any future concerns. The guys on the crew were all very polite, positive, and respectful of our property often working long hours and making sure the worksite was organized before leaving each night. At the conclusion of the job Frank and his team also took the time to ensure all debris was removed and everything around the property was returned to its original state. I would absolutely recommend Nashua Siding and Windows for a vinyl siding home improvement project. As their motto states “It’s the details that make the difference” and that shows throughout the job in both their quality of products as well as their overall craftsmanship.

Excellent workmanship and attention to details

I was so impressed with how hard they worked and what a great job they did. My house was particularly difficult as it was built in three separate sections at three different times. Nothing was even on my house and it was full of surprises. They removed the old windows, added insulation around all, in the window cavity. They installed the new windows and calked perimeters. They installed white aluminum fabricated trim to the exterior of the windows. Then they installed new interior trim to 9 windows. I had an attic window replaced as well as 4 basement windows. One was a rolling slider. The other basement windows were Hopper windows. I had four windows ordered special for a paneled room. They were dark oak better grain interior finish. Frank was the only contractor I had received an estimate from who itemized all the work and the charges. He also answered all my questions honestly. My house is on very uneven land and they worked around it beautifully. They cleaned up everything as they went along. They were all very respectful and polite. I also have two dogs who tried to interfere with all these people but the men let the dogs get to know them and all went well. The price was more than fair. The work was done exactly when I was told and took exactly how long they estimated it would. I was especially impressed with the work Frank did in the back room. The room is uneven and the doorway is not standard height. In fact nothing in that room is standard as it was a back porch that was converted to a den. Frank's trim was a work of art. You can't tell the room is uneven looking at it. I have to say it brought tears to my eyes to see what he had done for me. He didn't have to but he took the extra effort to put his soul into his work. I will be forever grateful for hiring this company. At one point I just stood there listening to the silence. I have never been able to enjoy the quiet since moving here. I am amazed. I love my new windows. I show off my windows to everyone who will let me. I recommend this company to all. Oh, they also removed all the old windows and even cleaned up the yard. And I can't thank Frank and all the crew for the great job they did on my house.

Great. I've had Frank do smaller jobs with window and door replacement before, he came well recommended. I didn't shop around for this job, but previously he was charging less than other contractors. He's always polite, helpful and no-nonsense. No pushing expensive things, no big surprises. He uses Harvey Windows for ordering, its convenient to see products in their Nashua showroom. You may need to call a few times to get him to call back. He put up 3 sample pieces to help us decide on siding color. We had all siding everywhere on the outside replaced - no more painting. Lots of trim work. Shutters, also front storm door. House wrap that should help my winter energy bills. Always professional, clean up after themselves. It did take awhile to finish, the siding was on back-order, and it did take awhile to finish all the little things, but they did.

All went well.  Windows installed and cleaned.  Old windows removed. Explained window operation. 3 installers on site.  Took about 5 hours.
One of the 15 windows did not come with the double lock that the remaining 14 did.  They noticed the issue and notified Harvey and they were addressing the issue.  I asked Nashua to hold off on installing the replacement window until after the holidays.  We put the Christmas tree in front of the window that needed to be replaced.
I put the price at Good because the average homeowner is going to hear prices (on the radio and such) all over the spectrum. I felt it was a good price for the product.

Frank did a great job!

I recommend Nashua Siding and Windows, they give a good value.
No nonsense, good product, they don't rush to finish.
Went through several door possibilities with us at the Harvey showroom.
Only issue is responsiveness - they're smaller they don't have "customer service" answering the phone,
so it can be hard to get a hold to find out status. I recommend being patient and getting Frank's cell phone number.

I was referred to Franks by my friend, who had him previously hired him for
some jobs and was extremely happy with his work.
Both he and his men are very professional, and his workers are very polite
and friendly. They went above and beyond what was we asked them to do, and did a
thorough and quality job.
I would definitely re-hire him for my future projects!

Frank was excellent throughout the whole project. He responded in a timely manner to my initial inquiry, provided a thorough estimate and took the time to explain (and show) what the work would entail. Frank set clear expectations and followed through on everything that was discussed - from the timing of the work to all that was outlined in the proposal. The quality of work was high, and the attention to detail was even more than I expected- and I expect a lot. I feel that the cost given the full scope of work was excellent. Everyone on the crew was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and it was apparent that they took great pride in their work. It's refreshing to see a company that is focused on providing quality work and delivers on what they promise. I was impressed with the crafstmanship of the installation and the quality of the product (Harvey windows). Overall, I would highly recommend Frank and his crew.

I'm extremely satisfied with them. Anybody who shows up does meticulously neat work and they know what they're doing. The porch is going to cost me about $3500 and they're using all of the no maintenance material.

He has also put in 7 windows 3 years ago and will be putting another 7 windows sometime this month. He calls back the same day you call him. He is punctual and shows up when he is supposed to. He and his crew do an excellent job in putting the new windows, taking away the old windows and ensuring everything is sealed well. He is very easy to get along with and pleasant. I highly recommend him and got his reference from a friend whose windows were replaced, too. I will continue to use his services in future.
