On a Saturday afternoon, I got on line with Comcast about an email glitch- my sudden inability to send messages. During an on line chat with Comcast, they switched me, without informing me, to a second provider who ran a quick diagnostic check and told me my computer was badly infected with viruses, and that was why my email wasn't working. They sweet talked me into paying a $200 fee for them to fix my problem, if I would just leave my computer running for 48 hours, give them all my passwords, and not use it in the meantime. Worried about losing data, I agreed. A few hours later, I began to wonder if I had been scammed. I called Bill, who always picks up his phone. By phone he walked me through steps unplugging my router, and Comcast box for a minute each, and determined this so called service was not even hooked up to me. He said to try my email again and it worked! I contacted my credit card company and cancelled the transaction with the unknown second provider. Today I got my Bill from. His rate is $70.00 per hour, but he charged me $35.00. So here is my complete review. Review: A PC doctor who makes house calls. If you want a big gentle man to come to you and get your PC running like new again, call Bill Broyles, proprietor of Nashua Computer Support. Bill takes calls on weekends too. If you live in the greater Boston area, don?t worry, Bill will listen to your problem by phone and schedule a visit. He can do everything from untangling chords, to debugging software. I am professional writer and designer, and my wife a professional editor, living in Cambridge. We?ve had Bill on call for 10 years, and he has been able to sit beside us, recommend and install routers, cut through software problems, suggest and run applications, and one even look me in the eye and advise me to get a new computer. He helped me choose what brand and model, based on my budget and know how. When it arrived, he came and after helping me get rid of a lot of junk, transferred all my files to the new one. He can work with anyone, but is particularly patient with computer challenged folk like me. Bill Broyles has saved our bacon on many a big project, sometimes just by settling us down on the phone while we enable Teamviewer so he can do the driving to fix things, explaining as he goes. It doesn?t get better than this. No more fast talking geeks. Call Bill at Nashua Computer Support Nashua Computer Support 18 Manchester Street Nashua NH 03064 (603) 759-2852
