MILLWORK MASTERS

Description of Work: All the windows in our house needed to be replaced due to rotting, poor quality, etc. We shopped for several months with prices normally over $30,000 to $50,000. Every window company that came to our house I felt like I was with the proverbial "Used Car Salesman" (and they guys gave Used Car Salesmen a bad name!). Getting desperately in need of replacing the windows (one was literally falling out of the frame of the house), I went to Consumer Reports to see what windows they recommended. Marvin Windows was one of the top rated window makers and gave an estimate so I could figure out what the replacement cost should be approximatley. I then searched the Marvin website and found Millworks Masters. Millwork Masters came to the house and gave me a quote that was exactly what Consumer Reports said it would be and it was below $20,000. Having been prepared to spend up to $30,000, I asked if they could redo the casing/trim aound all the windows and they gave me another estimate to include all that and it was about $23,000. I said let's start immediately! They showed up as scheduled; kept the work area inside and outside the house clean; were courteous and accomodating; and did an absolutely fabulous job! Many of our neighbors have come over when they are thinking about replacing windows and we ara glad to show them the work Millworks Masters did at our house.
