He is very attentive and very easy to make appointments.  Moved into a bigger building which is very nice.  A very good doctor that I have seen for around 5 years.

He's very, very good!  He's just excellent and careful!  I go to him for internal medicine, and he has double-boarded in internal medicine and pediatrics.  He is absolutely excellent!

We have been seeing them for the past year and a half. The staff is not very pleasant but the doctors are nice. The practice is way too commercial so we are looking for another doctor at this time. We have not dealt with them in terms of the billing and administration. We will continue to use them for now but will switch as soon as we find another doctor.

I have been his patient for the past three years. I have been having some medical problems like a touch of pneumonia. He is very good. He is totally engaged in listening initially when you visit him which is extremely valuable to me. He is also very quick to prescribe medication or tests that are appropriate once I tell him as to what I have been experiencing. I like that in doctors very much. Most of the other doctors that I see are also the same way. So, I am not sure if I am selecting the right doctors or they are just around. But, I have a number of them that I regard highly. I have been through a few things that I needed some medical help with. He encourages me to call when there is a problem. If he says that he wants me there at a certain time then he really means it because he is willing to make the time to be available. There is very little time between his appointments. He would see me within five minutes from my appointment time or even earlier. He runs a very tight schedule. He and the other doctors in the office take great pains to choose people that interact in a positive way with the patients. They are not grumpy but happy to be there. It is not always a happy time but they make it as pleasant as possible. One of the things that first impressed me about him is that he would come in and sit down. He would then lean forward and look you in the face as if he is looking deeply into you only. His communication is great. He can hone in on what the issue is and has appropriate tests done to confirm as to what he thinks it is. He had me go to the hospital and get a chest X-ray done when he thought that I had Pneumonia. He also told me to go to one of the floors and get admitted while I was there. He was not fooling around. He is one of the best doctors that I have ever met and I would absolutely continue to use his services in the future.

I was referred to this practice by a friend who has worked with Dr. Riccio, and thinks highly of him as a doctor. Indeed, Dr. Riccio himself was very personable, professional and pleasant to work with. The practice staff is another story... First, the office is very busy. As a new patient calling in July, I was given an initial consultation date in October. Although I faxed release information, they still hadn't contacted my retiring physician's office to obtain my records when I arrived. Likewise, there were issues with medication and prescriptions in the interim. When I arrived, the doctor was finally able to see me some 40 minutes late. The consultation was excellent, with a good discussion of current health, history, etc. "Go ahead and make an appointment at the front desk for your actual physical." However, the earliest available appointment was at the end of FEBRUARY. That's 3 months for an initial consult, and 4 months for the very next appointment. What happens if I really need medical care? ...Which is why I'm on Angie's list looking for another doctor.
