Generator Power Solutions of New England

I ordered a generator 14 months ago and have never received it. I finally asked for my money back weeks ago and am still waiting. Customer service is terrible. I have left voice messages, emailed, posted on website for help and have visited their site several times trying to get my generator. Every time I got a different story. At this point I just want my money back. I would not recommend this company

I bought a $9K generator and installation through Lowe's. This company was the assigned installer. The initial appointment with Patrick went fine. Everything afterwards went south: - calls for scheduling took forever and the attitude was rather rude - techs don't call ahead when arriving (late) to the property - no communication when the next trade would come, what the next steps are or when the project would be finished - project not completely finished after three months (finishing details still missing) - start-up tech even recommneded to me not buy the service package from the company he is working for (says a lot....). Apparently this seemed a good company at some point but the office needs significant training and upgrades. Not sure where the owner is. His sales pitch was good but he disappreared in the meantime. Since the problems started, no one has reached to me to find a reasonable resolution. I can live with problems if they are dealt with.

Both electrician and plumber were outstanding it was "generator power solutions".

Generator Power Solutions of New England installed a whole house propane generator for my retirement home.  The unit will seamlessly keep my home powered up and running through any future power blackouts.  This installation took place during one of the coldest and snowy Winters on record.  There were challenges with this install due to frozen ground, very deep snow, and bitter cold.  Generator Power Solutions (GPS) did an outstanding job meeting all these obstacles.  I found them to be very communicative.  They always kept me in the loop as to what was going on.  Their work was neat and timely considering the awful weather they had to deal with.  They answered any questions I could come up with quickly, and clearly have expert skills and knowledge of their product.  Throughout the process I never had to worry about their end of the project.  I found them to be very trustworthy, in that I could not always be on site, and work proceeded without any supervision.  Their work is neat, clean and organized.  I would not hesitate one bit in recommending them to anyone.  Upon completion of the project they spent time with me to explain the inner workings of the standby generator.  They offered a service contract which I will purchase.  This is an example of what a customer / provider relationship should look like.  In short,  they are knowledgeable, trustworthy, communicative, and pleasant to work with.  I can't say enough good things about them.  My wife and I are very happy with how all this went.
