my husband was contracted to do work for this company. They left him they outstanding balance of $3000. They are failing to respond to at second communication. Beware Of this company, They are thieves.

Simply awful.! Awful quality, unsupervised work, unskilled workers, unfulfilled quality commitment in regards to coatings. $4,000 asked Andy for some type of discount never replied never even attended to complaint.

They were on-time, finished the job ahead of schedule. I do wish they have practiced social distancing more proactively.

Just an AWFUL experience with this company! I hired them to make repairs and repaint the popcorn style ceilings in my Condo. As you can see from the photos, the results were terrible. When I contacted the owner (Andy) and forwarded him the photos of the repairs, his response was the repairs will always be noticeable to me. The appearance was so bad that I had to hire a drywall company to come in and correct the work. While fixing Certapro's work, the drywall company discovered that tape had not been used on the repair seams as per the industry standard. This is what contributed to the uneven surfaces. The ceilings look great now and the areas that were repaired are not even noticeable. Needless to say I am extraordinarily disappointed by this entire experience.

They responded right away to an initial inquiry and honored the Angie's List discount. They did a good job; a large crew descended on our home for several weeks. They cleaned up their mess after each day, and we even had them install a new bulkhead door because it fit in the budget. We did not have to pay anything until the job was completed.

I hired From Andy Smolko from Nashua, NH. I was charges over $5,000.00. The men that came were FAR from professional. It took over a month for a job that was promised to be done in 4 days. Paint peeled off the ceiling within months. Another painter was sent out to fix this and he agreed that the job was disgraceful and that the ceilings should be redone. There was paint on the furniture, Paint on 1 rug in my bedroom and on two of the rugs there were 2 large burn marks from some heat lamp that was carelessly laid on the rugs. The paint job was horrendous. Andy Smolko came out and saw the damage that was done and said he would replace the rugs and asked "What else would you like us to do?" I have the emails from him where he made these promises. I have emailed him back many times but he refuses now to answer my calls or emails and has yet to pay for any damage to my home or to reimburse me one dime. Summary: After carefully vetting a number of painting service providers, we hired CertaPro Painters of Nashua to paint the complete interior of our newly purchased home. CertaPro, in every respect and in every phase, delivered excellent service and execution. We wholeheartedly recommend them as painters, and if, in the future we needed any painting done, we’d go directly to CertaPro of Nashua. Why did we choose to go with CertaPro of Nashua: It started when we met with Andy Smolko, owner of, as well as project and color consultant, for CertaPro. He was extremely knowledgeable about the type of painting we wanted for our contemporary home, which has many complex features, including vaulted ceilings, that required special attention. At our first meeting, before we had signed the contract with CertaPro, he made numerous valuable suggestions with regard to the project. We knew from the outset that he is someone who is very concerned with satisfying his customers as well as satisfying his personal inner standard of excellence. (This latter trait is our “gold standard” for engaging any contractor to render any service for us—an inner standard of excellence that the contractor is driven to satisfy in addition to the satisfaction of the customer.) After we signed, Andy remained involved with our project. The principal painters, Jason and Gordon, prepared and then painted the house with great skill, swift execution, and extreme care. Like Andy, they both have that need to satisfy their own very high standard of excellence, which I witnessed throughout the project. (As an aside, in my younger days, I worked on painting crews, and can credibly say that I have rarely encountered painters with the very high level of skill and execution exhibited by Jason and Gordon.) Lastly, Andy’s office staff, Aricia and Tami, made the administrative details extremely easy to follow, and their care and concern was clearly reflective of Andy’s own. CertaPro Painters of Nashua is the best I’ve encountered—excellence in service and performance. No one could reasonably ask for more. My advice: Go with Andy and his crew. You will be delighted and have no regrets!

This was an amazing team from beginning to end. Our basement was undergoing extensive renovation, and certapro seamlessly worked around the continuously changing schedule of the project, quickly provided very reasonable estimates for breaking the painting project into multiple phases to deal with the basement schedule, and even worked into the plan moving large furniture between floors of the house so we'd have exactly what we wanted at the end of all of this. Along the way they actually corrected some plaster issues left by the basement contractors, very courteously dealt with the fact that we had small children and pets so we needed the Painters to arrive and leave only during certain times of day, and planned out the moving of furniture and painting of bedrooms so each night everyone had a place to sleep over the course of the 3 day painting project! They greatly exceeded my expectations on price, quality, service, and caring for our needs.

They were excellent. I thought it was a little expensive, but not out of the range. I did have problems with them showing up when they said they would so it took a lot longer then expected. They said that they kept running behind on other jobs due to the weather.

He painted and said he mudded but he did not sand. i am pretty sure he barely mudded

There are places were you can see pieces of the ceiling that flaked/fell off. Also you can see the lines of where the professional that did the scraping mudded/covered to make it more smooth looking.

it was not sanded and/or mudded correctly. looks terrible. you can see the places that are not nice flat or sanded

I never got in a position to hire them.

Carpentry work took longer than anticipated--had to double check and make sure siding was cedar and not pine as was originally purchased for the job, but there was more work than expected. The team worked incredibly hard--long hours in hot conditions. They cleaned up the site every night and arrived on time each morning. Communication on what was being done, issues and decisions with carpentry, was all excellent. The work itself was very thorough and the painting work including trim was very well done. Several windows did get painted shut but the company sent the guys back out to get that resolved. Overall I was very pleased with the result. Price included all carpentry, materials, and painting/prep work.

Excellent experience for start to finish. Steve arrived on agreed upon time, gave a thorough evaluation and very reasonable estimate. The job started 2 days earlier than anticipated. The workmen performed a walk-around with me on the first day. The job went very well, looks great and we are very pleased. Will definitely recommend as well as use in the future.

Andy Smolko was great during the estimate (professional & on time) - he noticed an issue that other who quoted me for the same job did not.  
Joe did all the work and he is also very professional and did a great job.  
I know need the back of my house painted - since the wrong nails were used on the clap boards they are rusting - Joe told me how he would fix that problem  without having to replace all the nails! 
I just need the money for this job and i will have them come out and start painting the back of my house.  
Definitely would recommend to family and will definitely will use again.

I am very pleased with the quality of his work and the attention to detail and the communication with me during the process.  I would definitely use him again.

Andy came to the house right on time.  Listened to what I wanted and needed.  Offered constructive and positive suggestions.  He got right to work and measured each room.  Later that day I received an estimate and the contract. 
Jay called me the day before to arrange a time in which to get the key and get into the house.  He and his crew were right on time and got right to work.  I had them do an additional room, namely the kitchen, which they said was no problem.  Andy adjusted the cost that day. 
The job was not without problems, the hallway had multiple layers of wallpaper, one of which was over 50 years old.  This took much longer and required more effort than originally projected, but they took care of it.  They also had to removed a stubborn border in the kitchen, which they did successfully.  All of this extra work they  and they still finished up in two days.  Despite all of the wallpaper and wall repairs needed they cleaned up pretty well.  They called me an hour before they were finished so I could do a walk through.  They were friendly, professional and worked very hard to complete the job.
Considering the amount of labor involved, the price was very fair and result professional and clean.
I have carpentry work scheduled to be done with Certapro and I will submit a review when this is completed.

They were okay.  I ultimately had expectations that the stain would be finished the way it had originally looked.  However, they stained over old stain and so, it doesn’t look that great.  There were some stuff that was messy that I had them redo couple of times before they left, but they were very accommodating with making the fixes.  I would hope that in the future, I would be told that hey, if you really want it to look like the original, it's going to take more labor and more cost.  Otherwise, from the price perspective, I think I got what I paid for.
