ceramic tile, flooring contractor, marble & granite
 + 1 moreWhen the contractor that referred them arrived a couple days later I found that the shower pan had not been fabricated before they started putting up the wonder board. A large hole was left uncovered on the floor and the shower threshold was a couple pieces of wood screwed together and not fastened to the concrete. The original contrator that referred them ended up coming in and fixing all the issues - this included tearing out the wonder board they had put in and started from scratch. All attempts to get my deposit back from Clay Carson and Josue Carvalho have been unsuccessful and will have to go to small claims court to recoup my losses. I would advise anyone to avoid Boston Tile Solutions due to my experience.
Description of Work: Hired Boston Tile solutions on 5/15/2012 to install tile on the floor and a tile shower that we agreed would be finished on the 1st of June. Other than the 1st day, they never showed up on time and I had issues getting them to arrive during the 2 weeks. They arrived at my place 5 times during the 2 week period. The 1st was to pick up the $1563 deposit on May 16th and do demo work on the old tile. This was done correctly. On the 25th, they laid some tile in the bathroom - they were full tiles with only a few that were cut. They finally started again on the 30th but nothing seemed to be done correctly. I spoke to the original person who had referred them and after he spoke to them on the phone he was very upset with how the shower installation was going. Due to the quality of the work I was advised to fire them as the work was not being done correctly. During the 2 week period I had issues with them arriving on time, keeping in contact with me and returning my calls. I always had one excuse after another. Under our agreement, the work was supposed to be completed on the 1st of June. They did not even try to live up to this agreement and did not perform quality work on what they had done.
