Window Treatment Service
After living in an apartment in Arlington, MA for 20 years we finally purchased a very modest vanilla ranch style house in Nashua last year. Opting for a more open look we removed the walls between the kitchen/dining room and the living room and installed Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors with 3'x5' slate landings at the front and side door. Then we used the same imperial forest slate on a corner wall installed to house a corner fireplace. With these changes we needed some serious help with window treatments. Our realtor recommended Terre Heinz at "A Better View." Terre was very professional, but with a warmth and sense of humor that gave us confidence that the results would be consistent with our vision. We were not disappointed. The material selected has vertical stripes but with a horizontal weave that made it very difficult to estimate the amount of stretching that could occur over time. After installing the drapes for the bay window and sliding door Terre checked in with us several times to make sure that the length was still correct. When she learned that the drapes for the window had stretched a little more than anticipated she returned and hand sewed the drapes so that they now hang perfectly. Terre has an artist's eye for design and is highly skilled in her craft. I would not hesitate to recommend her work to anyone.
