Fantastic service. Greg was responsive to my request for service. Returned my calls even though I know I was being a nuisance. He was professional and followed through on his plan without fail. Mike was the plumber that came to my home. Polite, professional, prompt, and repaired the leak. I have water to my home again!. Thank you to Smitty's. Will call them again without hesitating.

Very well. Mike, Greg's (Smitty's) associate/ employee was very professional and knowledgeable and repaired the issue quickly. It took me several weeks of contacting plumbers to have this issue repaired and resolved and while it may not be a "big deal" in the world of plumbing compared to others, it was a significant situation on my end. I was happy to have it repaired finally and the service was excellent once they could make it out to my address. I would recommend to others.

Smitty's assistant came out punctually at each request. They were small things and not emergencies, so I was impressed. Each time the problem was resolved swiftly and competently. The fees were minimal considering that we live in the middle of nowhere and just getting here still costs a business money.

TERRIBLE, OVER-PRICED and NASTY!!
How many plumber do you know
who make over $300 per hour? Well Smitty does. He spend less than 30
minutes on site at 3PM on a Tuesday, brought in a big monkey wrench to
unscrew a frozen pipe and charged $150.
I was shocked but wrote the check. He told me without him I would have had no
water or heat. Then he said he saved me over $400 and not to call him
again. I said he should not worry about that and that my friends and
neighbors would hear about his nasty manner and crazy prices. Plain and
simple he took advantage of us!

"Although this review was from 2012, I wanted to address it because it is one of the only negative reviews we have received. We got this emergency call at 3:00 in the afternoon when we were on our way to another call. We called the other customer and postponed that call so we could take care of Mr. [Member Name Removed] because he had no water and was frustrated because he could not fix the problem himself. The shower valve was completely apart when we arrived and we had the correct tools to repair the existing valve without having to replace it. Between travel time and time at the job we charged him $150 and had to reschedule the other job. If I had to do it over again, although I feel good about helping people get their water back, I would have left this one alone."

"This report is a complete lie. Smitty Plumbing was hired as a subcontractor to do part of a bathroom renovation. Where $500,000 comes from I have no idea, we were paid 2,500 for this job by the contractor. The following is dates of service for other work we provided the customer and were promptly paid for: 5/10/06, 8/25/10. 7/22/10, 8/25/10, 4/21/11, and 5/23/11. If our service was so terrible, why did she continue to hire us? The truth is that we are a good company and she is a bad customer. We refused to do any more work for her this summer because she was so difficult. This Angies List report of hers is "sour grapes". We give her a F in decency."

Mr. Smith had to devise one or two parts to complete installation of a kitchen sink. He used the latest in piping (i.e., Pex) and associated fixtures instead of insisting on copper as so many plumbers are wont to do. His solution to the venting problem was ingenious.

My shower head broke off. I tried to fix it myself with parts that I bought. I failed. Smitty fixed it with my parts that I already purchased so I wasn't out any money. He also fixed a drippy faucet from the bathroom sink that I was overlooking due to not having a shower. I was at work when he was here. He said I could drop a check off on my way home. That was wonderful, Good old fashioned service! I am very pleased!!
