Ciardelli Fuel

Project went great. Swapped the tank based water heater for a tankless, added the line for the gas fireplace logs, installed the gas logs, and upgraded the line from the LPG tank to the house to supply the new devices. Team arrived as scheduled, and finished up the job quickly. They explained everything and cleaned up afterwards.

Ciardelli is the only energy company so far that I trust and that has impressed me. Ciardelli continues to win my business time and time again. They are cordial, punctual, up-front, straightforward, their crew is technically savvy, and last but not least their prices are reasonable! They do good work, they charge fair prices, and dealing with them is like having a friend on your side guiding you through any energy project. What Ciardelli offers is TRUSTWORTHINESS. It's literally the single most important quality and the only thing of value in today's cut throat marketplace. Every time I've quoted out a job I've experienced some of the worst kinds of contractor behavior. These experiences are pre-work, meaning, I've just tried to get quotes from multiple contractors. These other guys just can't seem to get their acts together! From trying to up sell me using techniques designed to confuse, to trying to charge thousands more than a job would normally cost (just to see if they can get away with it), to contractors who have no idea what they're doing technically (lack of trade skill or knowledge), to plain old lack of customer service, i.e. bad punctuality, not answering calls, not calling back, etc. This is a trustworthy company - and as long as they remain so they will continue to win my business!

I called for a propane refill, and like with many things had not checked the prices because Ciardelli had been our provider for some time. When I found out how high the prices were, I decided check around for other prices and to call them to see if they could do anything about the fact that their prices were nearly $1,00 per gallon higher than competitors. Because I felt it was reasonable to give my current supplier a chance to be competitive, I called to speak with customer service and was met by absolute indifference. I had been a customer in good standing for nearly 10 years and not once was any attempt made to retain me as a customer. 
I had just refilled my tank for $3.89/gallon. I decided at that point to find a new option. I hired a new supplier who was charging $1.20 less per gallon. When I called to ask Ciardelli what the process was to return the tank and get a credit for the nearly 70 gallons of propane left in the tank I was told they would not credit anything for the propane. I had a balance due to Ciardelli and told them I thought that was an unacceptable position at which time they told me Matt Ciardelli would call me back. 
I explained my self to Matt when he called and he told me "All sales are final" He further explained that it was expensive for them to process returned tanks. I told him I understood and asked if he was willing to credit anything. He told me he would provide a credit of $1.00 per gallon (About .25 cents on the dollar). I asked him if he would agree to half of what I paid per gallon and he flatly declined and told me that $1 per gallon was the only offer he would make. When I told him I had an outstanding balance and I didn't not believe he was being "fair". He told me they would aggressively collect the balance. 
I think that this company showed its true colors when confronted with their pricing practices. I will never do business with them again and will make friends and family aware of the way my family was treated

The job was great and they provided good service and the job was done in one day. Everything went well.

We recently purchased a new home. The propane providers were Energy North. It took 30 minutes on hold just to switch the account to our name and it was clear that their rates were higher than they should be. Ciardelli was recommended to us, so after closing, I gave them a call: the call was answered by a very competent and helpful person on the first ring! They made transfer of service painless...did an initial check of our tank and service within a few days and did a delivery on that same day! They locked in a very competitive rate that is good for the next 16 months. What's more, they sent out a technician to do a safety check a few days later. He discovered a miniscule leak, and another technician came out later in the day to pinpoint and repair the leak...several hours of service that were gratis for a new customer. Very friendly and informative! Plus they have a very good website for handling bill payments, deliveries, and other services online. Needless to say we are thrilled so far with our Ciardelli experience!

They are very good and I've been using them for the past 20 years.

They always do a good job and the staff is very nice. We have used them for the past 6 years and have been very happy with the service we have received. We also get our oil from them and they always show up when promised.

Excellent. They had a good price, came when agreed, did very neat work on all aspects of the install and cleaned up at the end. They also showed great flexibility on scheduling.
And yes, they were our oil provider and now are our propane provider.

Ciardelli was our heating oil provider for our oil furnace and also provided propane for our limited use in cooking. We decided to replace our heating system and convert from oil to propane. Ultimately we chose to have a different firm do the replacement of our propane tank from a 120 gallon tank, which had been owned by Ciardelli, to a 500 gallon tank we wanted to own. Ciardelli could have forced the other firm or us to purchase the 120 gallon tank before removing it, but chose to be gracious and understanding, and easy to work with in removing it from our property. As our discontent with the other propane company mounted, we asked Ciardelli to quote on our propane deliveries, and they offered us the best price around, were highly professional and exceptionally caring in demonstrating they wanted our business back, and have been a joy to work with. As a family owned business, they have gone out of their way to be easy to work with and make us happy in every way possible. We highly recommend them, and will use them for a long time to come.

They are very good workers. They are very trustworthy and stand behind their work. I have never had an issue with their work. They are easy to scheudle with.
