It was odd. Derek replaced an outside door for us and it went well. He then committed and bid on doing our bathroom but he did not show up on the day he was supposed to come. He did not answer calls after this or texts. It was strange. He seemed okay and communicated well but after starting installation of a bathroom fan he seemed to get overwhelmed and never contacted either my husband or I again.

Derek was fast to respond & kept me updated on progress.

Derek is outstanding. He does exemplary work, is very fair, gives attention to detail and demonstrates great pride in his work. This is a great business to hire.

Derek Fisher does outstanding quality work for extremely reasonable rates. You couldn't ask for a better individual for your building project needs. He demolished my old deck, cleaned up everything and doubled the size of my deck, built with Trex composite decking, with customs railings, columns and lattice work and he did everything within the agreed upon budget. I would highly recommend Fisher Construction for any building project.

Derek replaced a sliding glass door with French doors. The removal of the sliding glass door went well, but the French door installation was less than ideal: Derek did not ensure trim pieces were properly aligned, did not seal all voids/cracks, and did not repaint trim. His price was low, and the door works without issue; however, I think the detail work needs to be spelled out in the contract and you need to hold him to it. Decent job overall, again, the details are the reason for the middling rating.

I would highly recommend Derek from Fisher Construction. He listened to my ideas, made a plan and retro fitted my closets with built ins. He is honest, hard working and pays attention to details. The price quoted was the same price paid. I am planning to hire him again for 2 jobs we talked about him doing in the future. Excellent service and would recommended without hesitation.

Very quick & efficient. No issues at all

Fisher construction do a very good job On my remodel if my apartment. The initial estimate given to me was met accurately. There were a few add on expenses, which I expected. As a general contractor, he handled all the work to be done himself, and subbed out any plumbing, etc that need modification. He met the time frame he quoted me at the beginning of the job. He remodeled the kitchen, bathroom, hallway and both bedrooms. All of this was completed within the time frame that we discussed. He did I very good job, and. I would hire him again.

He is very thorough and does a good job. He is also fast and works hard. Update: 10/03/2019 I had to hire another person to rework some of the work and had to have the double door replaced as it was an inswing door that was reconfigured to be an out-swing . I have pictures of all the lousy work. I find this very disappointing as I used this person a few years ago and he was very good. I will never recommend him again and it cost me another $1300.00 to fix what he did. Just beware.

Minor finishing detail missed. Other than that, very good, highly recommended.

Derek took on 2 projects for me and I was very happy with both. He repaired some damage to my roof and built a new deck. I am extremely happy with my new deck. The quality of his work is top notch. I plan to have him do an additional project in my home soon and would highly recommend him.

Derek Fisher contacted me promptly after my service magic request was made. We made an appointment for the next day (Sunday) and he arrived at my home on time. Derek was courteous and professional and took notes as we walked him through the various roof repairs that we wanted. Derek also offered to check out the rest of the roof to see if there were other issues. Others may have taken advantage and come up with extra work but Derek found no other issues. His estimate was very reasonable and we agreed to start work the following week. He completed the job on time, cleaned up all the mess and billed me exactly what was quoted. He's great

Derek did an unbelievable job, he arrived on time and finished in roughly 1 day. The job did not go over budget and came out at the quoted price. We are very satisfied with Dereks work and will be hiring him again.

Fisher Construction guys were on time, very thorough, did exactly what was contracted in a very timely manner. Cleaned up after themselves, offered suggestions but were in no way pushy. They corrected what another contractor( that I had not find through Service Magic) had left unfinished. I have already told friends and family how pleased I am with the work done. I would hire Fisher Construction again and would definately not hesitate to search in Service Magic another time for contractor resources.

Derek came out right away to provide an estimate and then returned the next available opportunity to do the work. He does good work, clean lines, and does not leave anything behind. He is fast and efficient and extremely professional. I would use him again for other projects and would recommend him to others.

Fisher Construction did a fantastic job replacing my broken gutter. I plan to hire them again to work on a few other jobs we need done.

Was pleasant to deal with but lacked attention to detail and couldn't comply with his own payment terms (he needed more money before he could finish).

We had a large amount of snow on our roof and we wanted it removed. Derek called back the same day, came out to give us an estimate and was able to come the next morning early and have all the snow (3 ft deep) removed from our roof within 2 hours so we could get to work on time.
